DIVINE DIRECTIVES THE GOLDEN AGE by Beloved Saint Germain My Beloved Friends, I would like to give you an explanation of the Foundation upon which the New Age of Freedom is being builded, in order that you may more fully comprehend the reason why this shall be a PERMANENT GOLDEN AGE from which there can be no receding, In all former Golden Ages and great advance ments of civilizations, the great God Beings who overshadowed these civilizations were the sustaining Consciousness of the people, In the now dawning Golden Age, the Spiritual Hierarchy is feeding and expanding the individual consciousness of each lifestream in redeeming and perfecting that consciousness from within so that it will become a self-sustained and strong consciousness which embraces the Truth dnd Perfection which is within the Cosmic Consciousness which We in the Higher Realms enjoy and use at all times. When this is attained, the physical manifestations of Beauty and Perfection will increase as the momentum of this New Age gathers and the Power will emanate not from an overshadowing Presence of the As cended Masters alone but from the cooperative unfoldment of humanity as a whole, In this manner when the individual conscious ness and the patterns of Beauty and Perfection are blended in the inner man, there will be no retrogression or surcease from that expansion of Beauty and Perfection. Throughout the centuries man has been healed of diverse imperfection of mind and body by 2 DIVINE DIRECTIVES DIVINE DIRECTIVES ~he mercy of Perfected Beings and has again, in the same or succeeding embodiments, manifested the same discomforts and imperfection. In this New Age, all healings will come through the illumination of the inner consciousness of man and he, through the conscious use of the Flame, cooperating with the Cosmic Flame of Mercy, will have the Power to dissolve or transmute all the accumulation in his lifestream that has caused such diseases and distress. These healings will be permanent because when the mind and the heart of man are illumined and the inner con sciousness accepts and sustains a pulse-beat of perfect Harmony, the outer self will manifest and sustain Eternal Youth, Beauty and Perfection as well as the Godliness as embodied by the Ascended Masters. The intellect of man had felt that the inception of this New Age is a slow and seemingly unproductive process. It has been felt that conditions under the direct guidance of the Ascended Masters should more quickly express the fulness of the ideal and that the chelas should manifest more Perfection in their worlds and affairs. Permit Me to emphatically state that We are not concerned with temporary displays or phenomena that cannot be sustained by the con sciousness of the individual! The Spiritual Hierarchy is releasing as much Perfection as the individual lifestream·can accept and sustain when that one makes application to the Cosmic Law, for it would not be the part of wisdom to saturate a chelais being with the Perfection of the Inner Realms until he, in his own developed capacity can sustain that Gift or Gifts without the sustaining Power of the Ascended Master. We are not concerned with temporary delights which the chela may be enjoying but through Our Instruction, We are building into the conscious ness the causes of Perfection which will gather momentum as the chela so desires to energize them. As you enrich your consciousness through the power of your attention upon Godliness, you will find that more and more of the longed-for God Gifts and Virtues will manifest in your personal environment, and in the world of others as you call them forth. It is not the prerogative of the Ascended Masters to free, heal, illumine or supply the outer self except by changing the inner man and then only through the free will cooperation of the individual lifestream. The Spiritual Hierarchy lovingly offers the chelas the fulness of the Cosmic Consciousness which is a reservoir of Perfection, and upon the heart call of any of you, We gratefully pour this "golden Oil" into the cup of your being. When your consciousness is filled with the richness of God Perfection, there is no power anywhere in the Universe which can keep that Good from flowing through the harmony of your being into your world and throughout the Planet for the enrichment of all life! Be ever mindful that harmony is the Key which opens the door to the release of any or all of Cod ! s Blessings and it is My Heart prayer that this so important lesson will be soon learned by all of the chelas. DIVINE DIRECTIVES DIVINE DIRECTIVES THE DESIRE FOR PERFECTION by Beloved Elohim Hercules Beloved staunch Spirits of the Almighty serving on the Planet Earth with the one purpose in mind - that of doing the Will of God and assisting the Spiritual Hierarchy in bringing the Permanent Golden Age to fruition as quickly as possible, I greet you with the deep gratitude of My Being. The limitless field of Cosmic Service open to any individual who has a conscious knowledge of the use of the Sacred Fire can scarcely be conceived by the intellect of man. Every indi vidual, finding himself restricted by a physical garment, experiences the limitations which the imposed karma through the misuse of God's Energy has placed upon that vehicle, However, once the consciousness is freed from the limiting concepts of human thinking, that one may soar on the and become a conscious Dweller in the Fourth Dimensional Plane. Such an one then has the power to 'adjust' conditions of an imperfect nature which are expressing in the world of form. A moment's reflection will show the chela that he is of the same Mind as the Cosmic or Ascended Being, for in the oneness of that Consciousness, he becomes immersed in the ecstasy and Beauty and Perfection.and his being pulsates with the desire to bring Perfection to all life! At this point, I would like to impress upon your consciousness that Perfection is everywhere, and while you, in using the limited conscious ness of the human self, sometimes feel that you are limited in your service, you should endeavor at all times to dismiss such an idea. When one thinks of limitation, he is thinking of the lower self - forgetting that he functions at all times from consciousness. Limitation only occurs when he chooses the human rather than the Cosmic Consciousness of Perfection. We have recently brought to your attention the ease with which you may cross the Bridge from the human into the Realm of the Divine, and contemplation will show you the rationality of choosing the Cosmic Consciousness. When a chela functions from the Cosmic Consciousness, he has the ability to draw the Sacred Fire from the One Supreme Source of which he is an active component, and may direct the Rays of Light to •treat' any negative manifestation through the merciful use of all the Seven Rays - should the requirement be one of Healing, Purity, Divine Love, Illumination and so on. We have counselled you to become co-creators with the Spiritual Hierarchy, and the hour has now arrived when you should be able to function freely from the Higher Consciousness. If you would make it a practice of consciously returning to that Consciousness when, due to a momentum gained through the centuries of functioning in the lower consciousness, you slip into the groove thus created, you would find it more desirable to use the Exalted Consciousness and thus be in the world but not of it. There are many among you, in fact all of the chelas could become co-creators with the Supreme Source if they would but dispense with the lethargy in their lower vehicles. This bogs them down through the insidious whispers of negative thoughts which are spawned for the satisfaction of the human self which does not desire to make knew! THE DIVINE PLAN by Beloved Elohim Vista Much and yet wanting chelas. DIVINE DIRECTIVES architectural drawing which They were to follow. They, in turn, made an etheric replica of this Divine Plan and placed It in the atmosphere above the physical substance which They were drawing into manifestation. This completed Universe - accurate to the smallest detail -- became a pulsating, shining reality in the inner world. The Devas of Form and the Sprites of Nature were instructed as to their part in the evolutionary scheme, and the Divine Plan for each lifestream remains a pulsa ting, breathing Flame in the world of the Real. When the individual was in constant communi cation with his own God Self, it was an easy matter for the physical personality to fulfill the Plan in accordance with the Divine Will and the with mankind in creating the physical manifesta tion of the inner Etheric Pattern. When man ceased to communicate with the God Self, the Divine Plan was impeded, and that is why the cosmic evolution of the Earth is so far behind cosmic schedule. Great men and women, from time to time, have had the privilege of raising their consciousness to a point where they might glimpse a part of this shining etheric vision and then, through tenacity of purpose, they have been able to in spire lesser men to the task of making the physical appearance world yield to the Will of God. Great Statesmen, poets and writers, artists and musicians have thus presented the slower and heavier minds of the masses with the inspiration DIVINE DIRECTIVES DIVINE DIRECTIVES which was to be an outer expression of the inner Truth. Where such a receptive vessel was found, the Divine Plan was literally pushed forward by the Invisible Host Who have waited for such chan nels through the centuries. The Call for the Divine Plan to be fulfilled makes each person an open door through which the surge the Flame which will make the unresponsive consciousness of mankind aware of the True Des tiny of the individualizations of God and the Planet as well. To go a step further, and rising in conscious ness to view the Glory of the Divine Plan for individuals and for a locality or a nation is still a greater service, for such an one may through inspirational means, convey to the minds of the willing but unresponsible, the ways and means by which this Divine Plan can be inter preted. There are few who can rise above the Earth pull to a point where the inner sight may view the surrounding Glory, and among these few there are less still who have the ability of interpre tating their inner vision in a manner to inspire confidence and inspiration in others. These individuals are rare, and yet most are needed for the instruction of the Gods, and the Will of the Father must, by Cosmic Law, reach man through natural rather than supernatural means, except on rare occasions when the Cosmic Law permits an Avatar to come forth. Beloved Saint Germain has said that it is as easy to be aware of things years ahead as it is to secure a book from the library. He means by this that the only pre-destination there is for man and for beast and the Earth must, by the magnetic pull of the Cosmic cause, sooner or later express Perfection through cooperation with the Cosmic Law, until every atom and every cell of the Earth-plane and the life upon It has become an outpicturing of the Divine Blue Print. This is a Cosmic Fiat to which there is no exception! THE BEAUTY OF GOD'S PLAN by Beloved Elohim Vista Beloved chelas, you are acquainted with the fact that the Elohim are the Cosmic Builders of the Planet, and I, as Elohim of the Fifth Ray, would like to elaborate a little on Our Service. The pressure of Light behind evolution that surges through the consciousness of mankind is the upward arc expressing as the Ascended "I AM" Presence. When an individual enters the conscious pathway toward Perfection, he enters the stream of Electronic Force, which is a conscious Gift of the Elohimic Builders. As the Divine Plan fulfilled is the Ascen sion, and as the Elohim represent the Divine Intelligence directing the Ascension, They are very closely connected with each individual's endeavors to attain the Ascended Master con- sciousness. 10 DIVINE DIRECTIVES DIVINE DIRECTIVES As the Light is released into the Earthplane daily through a downwarn surge of Electronic Force, so is there daily an upward flow of Elec tronic Light that carries with It all the aspi ration and all the consciousness of mankind that is looking upward! One can consciously tune in to this River of Ascending Force, and thus be drawn into the full gathered momentum of Godly directed energy. This River of Force is a re quisite for that part of Life which has been bound by human thinking, in order to strengthen the aspiring God Flame to a point where It may be disconnected from the Earth pressure and thus flow freely into the Higher or Ascending Stream of energy. Who has achieved the Ascension consciously tuned into this River of Force which the Elohim have provided as a conveyor of man's consciousness back to God. It is as though you stepped on a Cosmic escalator and were carried by the Love of the Elohim upward toward the Goal which your heart desires. The pressure of this surging sea of force is essential because the mass of mankind are constantly pouring forth their energy in a man ner opposed to the Divine Plan, and unless they get into the rhythmic pulsation of the Divine Plan, as released by the Love and Light of the Elohim, they are still a part of the outer mind or consciousness. How We long for artists with esoteric vision to convey to canvas the Beauty of these Cosmic Truths. Sometimes a painting can convey through the senses enough of the Truth to awaken the sleeping soul, and in the world and realm o.f the r future - the New Age - Beloved Serapis Bey will spread the Light through canvas, through sculp ture and various other media of art, the dance, the song, the melody and so on, The Great Divine Plan is so beautiful, It contains such exquisite harmony, happiness and rhythm - that it is truly a tragedy to see mil lions of people creating •straw houses' built of their own human imaginings of what life should be, when above and behind their caricatures of life stand the most exquisite edifices awaiting the wind of adversity that will blow apart their human designs --- and when they find themselves among the ruins, they will look up and see the true pattern upon which they should build. For centuries the Elohim have waited and now is the hour of fulfillment. With the speed of Hercules' Blue Lightning, mankind will be forced to look to the Divine Architect, and then build with the Force of Nature according to the Divine Plan. It would be opportune if the beloved chelas who know of nnd use the Sacred Fire of transmu tation and Purification would call for the puri fication of all lifestreams on this Planet who have builded a momentum in artistic endeavors so that the magnificent Gifts in their Causal Bodies could readily flow through their con sciousness and express in the world of form something for the upliftment of all mankind. I assure you that Beloved Serapis would welcome any invocation for the God-expression of Beauty on this Earth. All of the Elohim are so desirous of assis ting in the precipitation of God's Perfection 12 DIVINE DIRECTIVES DIVINE DIRECTIVES in the world of form, and you, beloved ones, have but to turn your attention to Us, rhythmicaily, to witness the results of the simple instruc tion which I have lovingly presented to you to day. LIGHT FROM LUXOR by Beloved Serapis Bey Hosts directly concerned with the evolution of perfect bodies and perfect expressions of art, architecture, etc., work in the realm of crea tive thought and feeling constantly. As you know, They are invisible for the most part to the physical sight, and the Fourth Dimensional activities are active in the same sphere as is the consciousness of mankind, likewise invisible. For the individual who chooses to bring forth great manifestations of beauty and perfection, and to attune his or her lifestream to a point where he may be an OPEN DOOR through which the Beauty of the Golden Age, the plans, models and forms might express, has a magnificent oppor tunity of inviting these Cherubic, Seraphic, Angelic Builders of Form to enter his or her consciousness and create Their Perfect Patterns, enriching the individual consciousness without limit. The Beings, working in the Universe, can be invited into an individual's consciousness and allowed to pursue Their creative talents there, even as you would invite a talented musi cian into your music room. The great point of this instruction is that aside from your own God Self's Creative Power, these Beings, Who are Individualizations of God• s Own Divine Ideas, can build within your con sciousness such richness of Beauty and Form as the mind of man cannot conceive. They will wel come this opportunity because these Divine Im ages can only find expression in the physical world through the door of some incarnate life stream's consciousness, otherwise They live in Their Great Etheric Beauty in the unformed; but as These Angelic Beings build into a human be ings consciousness this Perfection, the Law of Life is that whatever is within the human con sciousness must be precipitated in the world of form, and therefore Their building and creative talents find a completeness that they could not without the cooperation and the partnership of an unascended being. I would like to make this very plain •.• what a man holds in his consciousness is the CAUSE, and what reflects in the physical appearance as his body, his surroundings, his environ ment, is the EFFECT of the Inner Cause. It is impossible for any human appearance in the physical world to remain, if the Inner Cause in the consciousness is removed or trans muted into a Divine Idea. It is likewise - impossible for any appearance to record in the world of man unless there is an Inner Cause in someone's consciousness. The Ascended Host and the Builders and Creators of Form dwell in a Realm wherein Their Consciousness is outpictured in Perfection and great Beauty, BUT the Consciousness of the A.scended Host, the Angels and the Beings Who 14 DIVINE DIRECTIVES DIVINE DIRECTIVES dwell in the Realm of Perfection cannot be reflected in the physic3l appearance world except through a member of humanity who still belongs to the human race. Such an one, opening his consciousness to the Gods and allowing Them to create within it these Divine Ideas and Pictures, Temples, Homes, etc., become a step down transformer and an open door, a channel through which these Divineideasbecome physical expressions, THE RAY OF BEAUTY - - - by Beloved Lady Venus Children of God, your great love and dedica tion to the service of freeing the Planet Earth from the shadows, has drawn Me into your atmos phere! All the so-called matter in the physical world is energy and therefore intelligent ••• the sub stance composing the physical chairs, tables, etc. has intelligent light, and will respond to the direction of the Creative Flame within the heart. It is, therefore, a matter of speaking directly to the substance around you and through the creative word "I AM" command it to express Beauty and Perfection. Command the physical world to yield to you the Beauty which expresses the Divine Plan. You, who crave to draw Beauty into the physical world for the Glory of God, must realize that as this is in accordance with your Divine Plan of Life you are in tune with the Infinite and in your very desire it makes your accomplishment a natural activity and not one that breasts the tide of evil. In other words, you are swimming with the forward, upward stream, and not in your frail barques attempting to hold back the glorious perfection and beauty of the Age of Perfection now dawning. The Ray of Beauty is the Crystal and the highest rate of vibratory action as expressed in each of the seven colors. Beauty and Love are Perfection and the more Beauty that is expressed in the indivictual and his surroundings, the higher the vibratory action of his life stream.The mental and feeling world of the individ ual, which is a constant flow of energy, sets the rate of vibratory action for that indivictual and tr.at which he drc..ws about him corresponds in substance with the keynote of his lifestream. Therefore, to have beauty about one, the indi vidual must quicken the rate of vibratory action within his lifestream and as that rate increases, the exquisite beauty which vibrates at a similar rate will be drawn about him - as like attracts like Above and below. The Law of magnetic attraction is little understood by the chelas who desire to bring forth the Temples and exquisite and priceless works of art that will adorn them. The individual desiring to be a focus for such physical beauty as expressed in these price less treasures must remember that unless the vibratory action of his own lifestream is the drawing power, the beauty, though it may come by effort of will, will not remain. Thus, there must be a constant vigilance in keeping the lifestreams of those who attend the Flame in the Temple of their beings vibrating at a rapid enough rate to sustain the Gifts that the Gods will give into their keeping. 16 DIVINE DIRECTIVES DIVINE DIRECTIVES You, dear chelas, abiding on the Earth, should be the Divine Magnets to draw and to hold the Glories that ·will make mankind stand in wonder and admiration, and then through the hearts craving for beauty, bring them into an under standing of the Law by which they, too, may be surrounded by the Gifts that this Earthplane and this System of Planets can bestow. Looking upon your dear lifestreams, "I AM" so very grateful to see that your vehicles which are the Temples of the most High Living God are expressing a greater beauty than they did a short time ago, and as you continue to sustain the higher vibratory action of your vehicles, will the greater Beauty of surroundings be yours. My Heart is filled with the Beauty of the Father-Mother God, and if you desire My assist ance to raise the vibratory action of your own vehicles, a heart desire and call to Me will bring you My Love and Beauty on Wings of Light, Beauty. natural Effect and Result of Love. However, Beauty in Itself becomes a Cause, for Beauty is contagious. It is inspiring - It is soul satis fying and It is one of the natural qualities of Life. REALITY by Beloved El Morya The world without is but a photographic plate of sensitive "aether" which is but in a sense a mirror for the thoughts and feelings of individuals. It, is in a constant state of change due to the fluctuation of the thought and feeling processes in the minds and hearts of mankind. This picture is what mankind terms "reality" because to the senses they can see and touch the passing forms and they have become so enmeshed in that which the senses report as true that they consider it reality. On the contrary, there is an inner world which is never changing except in an expanding quality of Perfection. This inner world is re flected on the screen of the outer world "aether" in the more or less stationary expressions of Nature •••• mountains, seas and lakes. Wherever a. man or woman can be found who will cease to generate human thought and feel ing, through such an one the world of the Real begins to pour Its picture and through that lifestream more and more of Divine Reality is stamped on the substance of the Earthsphere. There are two distinct creators •• and unless the human self is still, the Divine Creator with in the individual is unable to project the True Picture of that one's Reality from within out, because every impulse from the "I AM" Presence that would normally and naturally reflect Per fection on the substance of that one's world is interfered with by the numerous human emanations 18 DIVINE DIRECTIVES DIVINE DIRECTIVES that break the pattern. You have the Pure Light from the Presence playing into the substance of the Earth on the screen of life and that Ray would automatically mould the Essence of Life into Beauty, Opulence, Peace, Harmony and so on. However, there con stantly steps between the Pure Light and Its manifestation the human self that attracts the energy into its own use and then sends it on the screen of life as limitation, anger, irritation, poverty, sickness and so-called death. When a chela will acknowledge his lower self as a distortion of life and then COMMAND the hu man self SILENT, the Inner Presence will immedi ately begin to work and the world of the REAL will express through the personal life of such an one. Anyone desiring to express the WILL OF GOD, which is the outpicturing of the REAL, will find the enfolding Radiation of the First Ray - upon which I am privileged to serve - about him to assist him to sustain this God-ordained state of Being. THE LIVING WORD - - - by Beloved Jesus Beloved children of the One God! I bring to you today the LIVING WORD which is My Life - that Word which also is the Life of every Cosmic Being, Ascended Master and Angel Who brings to you Their Gifts of Light from time to time. That Word is a living part of Their Consciousness and very Being. Does It continue to live in you after you have received It? What do you contribute to that LIVING WORD given into your consciousness, your mind, your feelings, your flesh? Does that LIVING WORD mean as much to you today (when to your physical eye-sight I seem invisible) as it did in the days when I spoke to you while wear ing a flesh garment, so that your outer senses might be the comfort of form? Think of this, beloved ones! Every bit of instruction, radiation and blessing transferred to an individual from an Ascended Being or even from a Teacher, Minister, Priest or Rabbi (Or thodox, Metaphysical or Occu].t) is a part of the very life of the Teacher entering into the world of the student. Thereafter, It either lives there, activated by joyous buoyant acceptance; by mental remembrance in the process of applica tion; by etheric vitalization of that instruc tion and by physical works •••• or, by lack of acceptance and attention, It is allowed to "go to seed" so to speak! Long ago, in some of My parables I spoke about the 'seed' which was cast on shallow ground and on the rocks, in contrast to that which was cast into the good earth, which grew and brought forth a harvest. I bring this to your remembrance because Our Words are Our Life, containing Our Conscious ness and Our very Selves -- given in great Spirit ual generosity, according to the Dispensation of the Cosmic Law. As at present, these great Gifts are given to just a mere 'handful' of people, hoping that These Words Will Live in Works Well Done, emotionally, mentally, ether ically and physically. 20 DIVINE DIRECTIVES DIVINE DIRECTIVES Beloved ones, you are people who have a vo cation and that vocation is a Spiritual One! In other words, the Immortal Three-fold Flame of Eternal Truth within your heart made a vow to God and certain Masters to perform a chosen service in this world of form. However, you do not - as yet - have a vocation of the soul as well - at least not completely. There is a difference, you see, and that is w.here your personal "Armageddon" comes in. In the fullest freedom of the Inner Levels, it is very easy for the Immortal Three fold Flame of God - the Immortal Identity of you - to vow to assist, for instance, in a World Movement like this of the Beloved Saint Germain; but the soul-self, with its etheric memories, its mental concepts, its emotional tendencies, is not always wholly cooperative with that Spiritual vocation. There is a battle between the pres sures of self dedication to Cosmic Service and the surrender of the soul (outer self) to God and that service. The Church endeavors to pre pare the individual for a "soul-dedication". That is My endeavor with you now. Spiritually, you have made your vocation manifest in serving this Freedom Flame and mankind at large for many years. Sometimes, though, your soul has longed for release, relief and respite from this con tinuous task and that has caused a "war" in the feelings between the desire to serve the Christ or the "passing" man. Now, to dedicate your soul and to really have a vocation of your outer self, you must persis tently pursue the Seven Steps of Creation (or Precipitation) which has been placed before you again and again. FIRST: You must be willing to do the WILL OF GOD in joyous humility; SECOND: You must be willing to PERCEIVE the WILL OF GOD - that which He desires you to do - by listening for and hearing the "still small voice within" or from Those of the Ascended Host Who choose to assist you; THIRD: You must have a willingness to learn to really LOVE God, the Ascended Host and the Angels; FOURTH: You must be willing to become absolutely PURE in motive -- (let Me emphasize that again and again). It is the PURITY OF MOTIVE which will determine the efficacy of your works; FIFTH: You must be willing to CONSECRATE your feelings; (here is the place where you will have to watch yourself when you take step No. 5). If you were to give Me your feelings today in a burst of enthusiasm and say: "Lord, these are Thine", I should expect to keep you at the rate of vibratory action which is Mine. Would you think it fair, then, to take them back and ex press through them the feelings of the outer self such as depression or rage? Are you able to consecrate your feelings to Me today with no reservations? I wouldn't answer that question - if I were you - until I thought about it well, for if you were so to do, I should consider your feeling world My Own. If you were to give your mind to Me today and say: "Lord this mental body is Thine, never, never again will I think of anything less than the same perf·ect concepts which fill Your Thoughts." Could you then let your mental body lie within the com pass of My Thinking? Were you to give your etheric body to Me today and say: "Lord, here are my memories. Would you not be inclined to remember some grievance and take back the gift you had given Me? Were you to give Me your flesh body today and say: "Lord, without reservation this flesh body is Thine." Then, should I say: "We shall walk, then, the width of this great Continent or Its length " would that flesh body still remain Mine? When you make a sincere con secration which is a part of a soul's vocation, it is ALL - dear hearts - OR NOTHING! SIXTH: You must be willing to stay and MINISTER TO MANKIND long enough to finish the service you have vowed to give; SEVENTH: You must be willing to believe in and desire to learn the most efficacious way of draw ing the Grace of Heaven (INVOCATION) unto Earth. I say this only because the more you give Us - honestly - without fear and without regrets, the more We can use you and the more quickly you become like Us. Oh, there are so many aspects of the Spiritual L~w upon which I could discourse but I have decided upon what you are today, the sum total of your thoughts and feelings - your consciousness! This subject has been brought to your attention over and over again, but I shall endeavor to give you some of the principles which may assist you. They can and will if you apply the instruction given. It has been said, and truly, that' a house divided cannot stand'. The Truth within this statement is that an individual who separates himself from the Divinity of his being cannot proceed into his Eternal Freedom until the lower self, which has 'divided itself' from the Christ Presence, decides that he has had enough of this separate way of living and, in humility, sets about the blending of his lower vehicles into the vibratory action of the Indwelling Christ. While the consciousness entertains both good and evil at alternate times, neither the positive nor the negative is fully expressed. No mastery can be attained while the house is divided, for the entertainment of imperfection, at. any time, pro~ides an open door through ~hich more negation can enter and express itself. 24 DIVINE DIRECTIVES Now I wish to assure you that I am greatly encouraged by the advancement of your con sciousness, for you have applied yourself to one of the principles by which you may attain the Perfection of your individualized "I AM" Presence, and that is in the opening of your consciousness to the acceptance of the Ascended and Cosmic Hosts as a REALITY and have, to a large degree, followed the Instruction which We have been privileged to present to you. Since you have provided the Cup of your Consciousness and raised it to Us, Cosmic Law demands that We fill your Vessel with as much as you can understand and absorb. Ofttimes, chelas who have a great mental accretion in their consciousness, entertain the thought:"Oh I wish They would give us something new!" Ah .• grasp that intruder quickly and get it out of your world immediately. When you lapse into that frame of mind, it is proof that you do not know or understand the Spiritual Law which has been presented to you. In the process of inviting the Ascended and DIVINE DIRECTIVES Cosmic Host to fill your consciousness with the Truth which is a part of Their Individual Con sciousness - the momentum of a special Virtue or Virtues which They have elected to ensoul for the enrichment of the Consciousness of the Whole -- you have raised your consciousness to the degree where there are tremendous possi bilities within your reach. Fire, where conditions of a negative nature are manifesting, by directing the Ray of Transmuta tion into the imperfection, it can be replaced immediately by any of the God Virtues which you have drawn into and stored within your Causal Body. Do you not realize that every time you do this, you EXPAND the Borders of God's Kingdom, that Kingdom being the consciousness of the cosmos, without any limited periphery - expand ing - expanding - on and on until everywhere it touches, the Beauty and Perfume of God's Love anoints all? One often 'discovers' the Ray to which he belongs in this manner and that explains why his consciousness differs from another chela on the Path. However, when the chela has advanced DIVINE DIRECTIVES DIVINE DIRECTIVES sufficiently and entered deeply into the Cosmic Consciousness, he has bacome conversant with or attuned to, the rates of vibration on all the Rays, and his fellow-travelers do not disturb him by other vibratory actions. There is a nameless, unseen, indescribable FORCE within the Fire, which is Its Heart Center, but for man, the highest that his brain can comprehend as the manifestation of God is Fire. It is dual in Its purpose, for It constantly creates manifestations of Itself, and may be called on to transmute imperfect expressions. ThiR two fold action of Fire is the Gift of God to His Creation. The worship of the Fire is the most ancient of spiritual customs of the peoples of this Planet and other Planets as well. The activity of Our Beloved Saint Germain is an activity of Fire, as the Violet Transmuting Flame is obvious ly one of the manifold expressions of this Fire of God. In your physical world, the Elements of Water, Air and Earth are provided for man without self-conscious effort on his part and given as Gifts for his use, but to enjoy the fourth Element, which is by Its Name an element of the Fourth Dimension, one must exert conscious effort and through certain processes draw forth the Fire. This is true not only in your ordinary physical activity, but also in your Spiritual. When such a state of heart and mind is established and maintained by an individual part of the One Life, his con sciousness becomes a mystical, magnetic focus that releases the ever-present God-Power into the Third dimensional plane. In their very innermost nature, every Blessed and Holy One through uplifted thought and feeling, is constantly adoring the God-Principle, acknow ledging Its Active Presence through them, and PRESENCE which knows no defeat nor failure in anything. This is Active Faith - the Faith that moves mountains. When this state of heart and mind is achieved (and It can be by sincere con templation upon the Presence of God) the chela abides in an inner Peace and Tranquility, for he does not expect to wrest from his own person ality, or another's. that which the personal self cannot give. In the silent salutation to of Love, his recognition, acceptance and devotion releases the Power of the Presence to accomplish All Things in his daily living. When the chela realizes that the God-Power will act for and through him - this is one of the greatest links between the chela and the Ascended Master - while the chela thinks that the God-Power will act only for the Ascended Master - he has yet far to go. The line of de marcation is fine, but as we move forward on the Path-Way we learn to Honor The Presence - NOW, in ourselves and in All Life. CONSCIOUSNESS by Beloved Mother Mary Beloved Children of Light, you are attain ing greater freedom and beginning to enjoy the One Eternal Happiness that results from becoming masters of circumstance rather than victims of fate. The lifestreams who begin to perceive the powers of the Sacred Fire and avail themselves of the opportunity of drawing the Sacred Fire into focus, both for the purification of Cosmic Causes, known and unknown, and for the creation of new initial rates of vibration, are passing through the door from the realm of the three dimensions, which is a prison, into the realm of Cosmic Cause, which is the Fourth Dimensional Activity or the Ascended Masters Octave. It is the fulfillment of the promise of Beloved Serapis Bey when He said the chela would consciously pass over the Bridge into the Realm of Divine Ideation, and while yet wearing the garment of flesh, you would no longer be at the mercy of your own misuse of the creative energy or that of others. For many years now you have been receiving instruction on consciousness, and have come to a realization that within the realm of con sciousness is the CA USE of every EFFECT, good or evil, that has appeared or will appear in your WORLDS, but there is SOMETHING ABOVE the consciousness. DIVINE DIRECTIVES Consciousness is the conductor from the unseen to the manifest. The Ascended Masters' Consciousness is used by the Master, within which He creates through the facultie~ of thought and feeling,but, in order to have His manifestation come forth into the physical appearance world, He must use the medium of some consciousness who still belongs in the vibratory action of the race on the Planet which He is assisting. The Cosmic Consciousness flows through the highly evolved pure consciousnessofsomeone who abides on the Planet. Such lifestreams become Cosmic Conductors of Divinity and you have no greater example than that of Our Beloved Jesus. When the Cosmic Christ ~ntered His very Pure Consciousness, the two became ONE, We are constantly counselling the chelas to purify their consciousness so that the Cosmic Powers may flow, for the important reason that the descent of Cosmic Ideas through you would energize and vivify any accumulation through which It passes. In order to have selfless in struments who will allow their consciousness to be used by the Divine Beings, We must be assured that these consciousnesses are 1 i.ke crystal vials through which Our Light, Life and Powers might flow. 38 DIVINE DIRECTIVES DIVINE DIRECTIVES 3_9 THE WORLD OF CREATIVE CAUSE -- by Beloved Victory The chela of Light who has entered the con scious Path to Mastery must one day consciously enter the world of Creative Cause. Here, as an observer, he will contemplate the invincible Causes that have expressed in the world of ap pearances - good, imperfect or indifferent. Power House of Creation. Here he will see the Creative Power in action, generating those forces which produce all the Heaven and hell man experi ences. Then, with the conscious realization that the invisible Realm of Cause is the only realm that requires corrective attention, he will come into the activity of conscious wield ing of the Sacred Fire. Surely, having reached this point upon the Spiritual Path, you know what the Sacred Fire is! However, in an endeavor to further assist you in your evolution, I shall elucidate. The Sacred Fire is che Sacred Energy of Life, moulded consciously and unconsciously into form by the thought and feeling processes of the individual lifestream. It is as simple as that. The use of the Sacred Fire must be intensely directed into all imperfect causes, known and unknown, until the human consciousness is swept clean of every rate of vibration that is not in accord with the Divine Plan. He who is strong enough, determined enough and persistent enough to do this will soon find any uncomfortable effects in his appearance world disappearing. The chela must consciously step over the threshold from the world of effects, knowing that they have no power in themselves, and enter the potent, pulsating Realm of Cause, setting his inner house in order and then, wielding the Power of the Sacred Fire, create in his con sciousness the Perfection he desires to express. I counsel you to realize the unlimited pos sibilities at hand, for in the Realm of Cause, the Cosmic Beings and Ascended Masters are will ing and eager to lend Their Consciousness of Beauty, Their momentums and Their pressure of the Sacred Fire to any aspiring individual who desires to set his house in order. I believe this instruction is particularly apropos at this time, for so many of the chelas are concerned with the lack of some Virtue or Quality, or physical substance in their worlds, and the answer to this so-called problem is right at hand, merely by entering the Realm of Creative Cause and entertaining only that which is Good, and wielding the Sacred Fire to remove all else. I trust the foregoing will be of assistance to you - it can be, if you will accept and use that which is herein presented. THE SUBSTANCE OF EVERY MANIFESTATION by Beloved El Morya The energy of one's own life provides the substance of every manifestation in that one•s world of experience, and the quality of the en ergy determines the quality of the manifest form. 40 DIVINE DIRECTIVES DIVINE DIRECTIVES Thus all the lovely things that are exter nalized in a person8s life and environment are but the crystallized good of that lifestream, utilized by the Holy Christ Self and released by that Holy Christ Self to fill the requirements of the individual during that embodiment. There are conscious and unconscious CAUSES, set up by the lifestream through the use of En ergy. The unconscious Causes result from all the Good the lifestream has done, thus qualify ing the energy drawn from his own "I AM" Pre sence with a constructive radiation, but without conscious knowledge that such good was creating future Merit, Opulence and so on. Through the use of Energy, consciously di rected or unconsciously released, Inner Causes are immediately set into motion. Many life streams through embodiment after embodiment have chosen to utilize their Gift of Life to do Good, to bring Peace; to expand Kindliness, etc. These lifestreams set up causes in the Inner Bodies, which the Holy Christ Self utilizes to protect and provide them at later dates, and even in future embodiments, with the necessities and luxuries of life - which are the outpicturing of their own Energy qualified with Good. In the understanding of the Sacred Fire, how ever, the chelas have entered into a New Realm of Conscious Creation o·f new Causes by the use of applied thought and feeling. You still main tain the accumulated Good which must manifest through your Life experience, but you can now set into action new Causes by focusing your at tention upon a Divine Idea, holding the thought form, filling that form with your feeling and precipitating it into Being. Let us take an example -- a rope of pearls may be placed into the use and keeping of a beautiful woman by her own Holy Christ Self, and those pearls, in their very substance, would be the condensed energy of her Service to the Af flicted centuries ago; or, a chela could receive the Idea from God's Heart of a beautiful neck lace, pour his feeling of love and gratitude through the thought form, and actually, con sciously precipitate the necklace. In both cases the pearls would be the Energy of the lifestream taking the form of a necklace, but the first instance would be unconscious, and the second conscious precipitation. When the Master offers the Good in His Cau sal Body to the chelas, ft is a tremendous Gift, and the Substance can be released through the chela' s own lifestream as every good thing, such as health, money, peace and so on. A.11 substance of furniture, tables, cars, chairs, even excess weight, is the actual Energy of the individual's own lifestream condensed. If it is good - fine! if otherwise, r~deem it by Light! If there is lack - it is because there is not enough reserve Energy provided by the personal self to CONDENSE INTO YOUR USE, WHICH IS ONE OF THE REASONS FOR RELEASING ENERGY IN DECREES. One cannot make a brick house without bricks, and God Himself cannot give you Good except it be through your own Energy released. Individuals with a great store of Energy that can be drawn on by the Holy Christ Self will have quicker release thn.n those who must build up a Cosmic Bank Account. There is no reason for discour agement, because in your own Energy is your Supply, your Freedom, your Health, your Peace and ultimately your A.scension! 42 DIVINE DIRECTIVES DIVINE DIRECTIVES IMMACULATA BELOVED ASSIMILATING TRUTH Blessed chela, the old adage; "where ignor;;i.nce is bliss, it is folly to be wise" has a good deal of truth within it. Why do I live? Only that you might have being in My Causal Body; only that all of elemental rife, human life and Angelic life might have a ladder of evolution through the Seven Spheres. Evolution of a Silent Watcher Briefly, I would like to say that the evolu tion which ultimately results in opportunity to become a Silent Watcher, starts with the tiny elemental who is trained in the Nature Kingdom under the direction of the Beloved Mary, Holy Mother of Beloved Jesus. In these magnificent Kingdoms tiny elementals are trained to embody a form under the supervision of Builders of Form. DIVINE DIRECTIVES They gather together and the Builder of Form creates out of His Own Light Body a beautiful flower or some design which is the lesson of the day. All the little elementals whose nature it ls (iike your own etheric bodies) to mirror that which they look upon, immediately take on the form of the flower. This is simple, but when the Builder of Form has transferred the form of the flower to the elementals, He relin quishes the form and assumes His own form as Teacher. Then the elemental is required to concentrate upon hoJ.ding the pattern which is the lesson of the day. Many of them as soon as the Builderof Form returns into His magnificent robes, imme diately turn into little Builders of Form them selves and mirror instantly any change in the Teacher. They are patiently trained and this goes on age after age until they are able to retain the form which the Builder of Form gives them in dependently, and they stay an apple blossom or a lovely peach, or whatever it may be, for the duration of the class. When they become such masters, tiny little beings mind you, they are ready to go forth and try to become part of Amaryllis' great court and bring beauty into the world of form. This is how the Silent Wat cher's training begins. Then they come and create in some beautiful garden under a Nature Deva a rose, pansy, a beau tiful lily. They graduate up the ladder of evolu tion and become, perhaps, a Nature Deva of a garden. Then they are assigned, perhaps, to a Silent Watcher of a great hospital, drawing healing currents into themselves and projecting them down 54 DIVINE DIRECTIVES DIVINE DIRECTIVES in the radiation which is the blessing to the people. They graduate into greater service and become Devas like the Beloved Columbia and those Beings Who watch over an entire nation. They may become great racial Devas watching over the beautiful races evolving, all holding the power of concen tration, going up the ladder, holding the divine pattern of the highest for their nation, their race or country. From among all of these one is chosen to work with the Beloved Maha Chohan and learn to draw those magnificent currents which govern all nature and They come .to a point where They may apply for positions as the Elohim, the great Builders of Form of planets; and from the Elohim, the Silent Watchers are chosen. It is a long time since I embodied a flower and yet I remember it well. I remember those early days when it was such a temptation to flit from thought form to thought form, and I said: "Perhaps I may help"! And that is why I am here, for We are all servants, servants of the Law, and servants of all your Life! Think how long I have held for you the pattern which I ask you now, to hold for yourselves and each other! by Beloved Mother Mary Tracing the course of the electrons from the Heart of the Central Sun, one sees that they pass through a series of Celestial Beings in graded order, each Group endowing these electrons with the conscious Power and Radiation of His or Her particular expression of activity. Then passing the electrons which are the Gift of God downward to the Sphere of activity beneath, each Group becomes a Conductor to the Group below of the Essence of Life; each enjoying that same Electronic Essence and rejoicing in the Glory of the Life Principle. One must have Trust otherwise there would not be Hope! Trust goes hand in hand with Faith. For anything to manifest, one must have Love, Wisdom, or the discernment to have Faith in the accomplishment, through Love, brings us to the Three-fold Activity of Life. Another simple illustration ••• when a son or daughter goes on a journey for the first time unaccompanied by either of the parents, there usually is concern in their hearts until their offspring has safely reached his destination, and through Love and Faith they await word of his safe arrival. To witness the Hope for this accom plishment through Faith is a beautiful sight, and the Love engendered is a glorious radiation. Also when Hope is given to a despondent in dividual the vibratory action is that one is raised. While most of the people on this Planet do ~ot know of My Reality as a Being, I assure you that whenever or wherever there is a requirement for Hope, there I am, I am within every heart and all that is required for added assistance from My Being is to consciously invoke that aid! Thomas Printz J As the Beloved Saint Germain has recently explained on various occasions, the four lower bodies, physical, etheric, mental and emotional, are closely inter-related, one with the other, just as climbers who are maki.nq a steep ascent upon a glacier, are tied together for safety's sake. Each one depends upon the other's sure footing; upon the capacity and training of the other, in order to reach the apex of the moun tain. The slip of the foot of any one, caused by hysteria, emotional unbalance or, perhaps, by some 'accident• to the physical body, is apt to plummet the entire group into a crevasse and obliterate them, temporarily, at least, from the physical appearance world. It is exactly the same thing with your inner bodies! If, through habit, your feelings (emotional body) have been allowed to explode at will and to throw out resentment and rebellion with lit tle or no attempt on your part to control them, that emotional body immediately pulls down with it the other three vehicles into the slower vi brations of the astral realm. Then you have a headache and mental fog; you have another scar on the etheric body, and you usually have some physical repercussion in the flesh form. If the etheric body is allowed continually to revert to the injustices of the past - in this life alone most everyone has suffered, at least what they have considered injustice, it revivifies those distresses again, many times making them recur in your present experience. You know, the etheric body is a great one to •watch' for such opportunities to express itself while you are on 'vacation' or when you are not actually busy doing something else at the moment. That is when the etheric body becomes active and the stirring energies within it say: "Do you re member thus and so?" Finally, the mind and the feelings get into it, and you have the •slough' of lowered vibrations again. Then there is only one thing to do, and this same procedure has been used century after century by all sincere lifestreams who wish to become Master of their worlds - that is, TO CHANGE THE. VIBRATORY ACTION of those bodies by raising them (as the speed of the airplane propeller raises the plane into the air) by increasing the vibrations of those bodies to the point where harmony, purity, hap piness, peace and general well-being exist! My lovely ones, think of the statements you make and have been making for a number of years now. Think upon them deeply, for they will af fect the karma which you draw upon yourselves. It is up to you to create the glory of your Causal Body through your four lower bodies and make the Holy Spirit of God your personal aura, instead of its being a flashing and crashing of the discords of your various vehicles which are offbeat. When they are so, they are creating the dissonance which is very evident to others, and which causes your own personal distresses. It is time NOW that you bring your four lower bodies - physical, etheric, mental and emotion al - into alignment - ALL OF THEM - and then to raise and consecrate them all to God and to His service! PERFECTION OF THE PHYfilCAL GARMENT by Beloved Holy AEolus The consciousness of the chela and all men unascended is to place the world and all human beings who form the inhabitants of the Planet Earth outside himself. The Consciousness of God and the Master is to hold all mankind, the na ture kingdom, the Earth and the Universe within himself. When the chela can cross that bridge con sciously and come to a feeling that all people are inside himself, his compassion and under standing will grow and his ability to Love the discrepancies into harmonies will be a thousand fold more intense. When a member of the body is for some rea son incapacitated, the whole body rushes with its strength, its vitality, its blood, its nerve energy, and its particular curative powers are centered in the temporarily disabled instrument, for the body more wisely than man knows that it can function-best when all its members are in complete agreement, harmony and balance. For instance, if one leg is suffering a temporary disability, the entire body suffers thereby, the redistribution of weight, a re-polarization of 86 DIVINE DIRECTIVES organism, and an excessive pressure of service upon the remaining members, which causes dis comfort to the entire vehicle. The body, there fore, in its mighty wisdom, immediately begins to restore and repair the injured member, not only for the benefit of the member but for the greater efficacy of the entire instrument. In a controlled feeling world one can create a Power-house which he can consciously attach to his visualizing faculty, and like a motor attached to a vehicle, precipitate the vis ualized picture into motion. You have learned that the feeling nature is the motivating power behind all thought proc esses and that thoughts are propelled into man ifestation by the pressure of energy within the feeling world. Therefore, the more intensely one can feel the reality of his visualization, the more rapidly does the visualized ideation become manifest. The more Faith, Courage, Con fidence, Intelligence, Purity, Light and vivacity within the feeling world, the more rapid is the conscious precipitation. You have learned that man has been precipita ting through the very faculties of the Godhead from the beginning of so-called time, but the consciously directed manipulation of the proc esses of thought and feeling is mastery. You can see now from what you have read and studied regarding the ability of a Master to create con ditions in a seemingly miraculous manner just how these wonders can become a daily and natural experience in your life plan. The life plan of the average individual is an uncertain series of experiences, resulting from the lack of control of the thought proc esses energized wholly unconsciously by the pressure of the feeling world, and catapulted by the very nature of each individual9s being into expression. The natural activity of every lifestream is to consciously direct his visualizing faculties according to the wisdom of his Higher Sel£ and to cut into the Universal Life Substance the pattern and form which he wishes to express, and then to pass the energy of his feeling world through this distinct and detailed pattern in a calm, effortless, but persistent manner until the inner design is manifested. Consider an artisan making a golden vessel, a vase or cup or any other object, first he makes a mould of a strong substance and then the gold is poured into the mould, thus the perfect ves sel is formed first, and then the gold is re moved. This is done in a methodical, tension less manner. The thought and feeling processes of man can be controlled in exactly the same scientific manner, and the science of precipitation gained through practice will bring manifestations more and more quickly, and more and more perfectly as you gain the ability to visualize and con centrate, the QUALITY of energy in the feeling world is perfected. As you have workmen of various degrees of efficiency with more skilled hands and a more highly developed sense of artistry, so in man kind you have various developments of the mental and emotional nature, and some will find the controlled action of creation more easy of ac complishment than others - for example - some people are natural born singers or musicians, but all can, with the proper adjustment of the inner faculties come to a state of instant pre cipitation and mastery. In sensitive and highly developed people you will find an emotional nature that is quick to 90 DIVINE DIRECTIVES DIVINE DIRECTIVES grasp Truth and quick to respond to external vi brations. While this is a great strength, it is also a great weakness, because the vacuous thought forms in the Universe can only retain their identity by the securing of energy from the feeling nature of some lifestreams which they can cause to respond to their presence through fear, irritation etc. Therefore, the feeling nature, in order to reach greater heights of spiritual attainment must be developed to an extremely quick response to a higher vibration and the necessity of "The Middle Way" is again brought to the foreground. To have a highly sensitive vehicle that can consciously enter the Realm of Divine Causation and yet find no response to externals of a dis cordant nature is perfect balance, and toward this end all must strive. SELF - JUSTIFICATION by Beloved Serapis Bey Will I detect •rumblings' in your conscious ness when you read the heading of this Release of "oh, no, not me!" Beloved ones, the unascended chela does not know when some individual may touch a sensitive spot in his or her feelings and will bristle at the comment or disgruntled remark of another. If this does happen, you will know that the personal self is still an entity desiring just ification. The mind of man is a series of thoughts and feelings, actions and re-actions which comprise a picture of what he thinks he is and his rela tionship to the universe surrounding him. This is the personality, which the individual desires to protect, and the energy of his being is poured constantly into appeasing and cultivating the requirements of this little self. Now that the chela has progressed along the $piritual Path and has conscientiously used the Sacred Fire of Transmutation and Purification. these defensive feelings are of a minor nature but be ever on the alert for the intruder who steps on your toes, so to speak. One who is striving, and advancing, toward the Goal of being The Christ Presence in acti.on can be very suscep tible, and it is the Divine Love which I hold for each of you that prompts Me to counsel you in this regard. The personal self, apart from God, is an in dividual entity with separate tendencies. The momentum of holding the little self in such esteem through the ages has created a substance which has formed a dense or unclear condition in the consciousness, and this must be removed before the Happiness and God Perfection can be brought into being. The vehicles of expression belonging to the Beloved "I AM" Presence which the lifestream inhabits were intended to be conductors of the Goodness of The Creator of all Life and for the expansion of the Gifts of the Fourth Dimension in the physical appearance world. The consciousness of the personal self must be withdrawn from the outer enjoyment back to its Source, which will result in inner peace. 92 DIVINE DIRECTIVES DIVINE DIRECTIVES Spiritual meditation, true art, color and music play an important part in this renouncement but entering the 'inner sanc+um t of The Christ with in will more quickly Loose the hold of the outer which has enjoyed such a long tenure in your worlds. Be assured that the entire Host of Heaven are ready and willing at all times to assist you in this renunciation, when invoked, for every lifestream who has reached the point in its evolution where it desires to return to the Kingdom of Perfection is deserving of added assistance. All consciousness is part of the Whole and while any part of the Universal Consciousness is enmeshed in fulse concepts, the Over-All Pattern of Perfection cannot express. Therefore, the Ascended Master Consciousness continues to draw inward towards the Source of Being, on the inflow of the Life Breath, all the consciousness on the Planet is flowing inward in like manner, in plant life, animal life, and the life of man. You can well realize how very important it is to condition your consciousness at this partic ular time to assist all the evolutions of this Earth to be prepared for the Cosmic Inbreath which will draw all closer to their Great Source. I admonish you to plunge constantly into the Sea of Godliness, which is within, and be on guard at all times that the little self is no longer recognized or defended in thought or feeling. Once you actually get the inner feeling in the tranquil waters of Spirit you will find that you can actually 'cruise' to the Home Port, as it were, and not be buffeted about by the violent storms on the seas of imperfection and turbulence. So, come with Me into the Heart of the Cosmic and imbibe the Elixir of Spirit, the living Essence of Perfection, where We shall, together, raise the consciousness of the evolutions of this Earth, and serve as ONE to the Glory of The Almighty. When the battery of your car runs down, it is attached to an equipment provided to recharge it. The battery of your physical, etheric, men tal and emotional bodies is likewise depletoed by constant usage, and as that battery runs down the vibratory action of your bodies slows down, just as in your car, and finally ceases motion. When your bodies come to this state you im mediately become a prey to the unseen vibrations that move at a similarly slow rate through the physical plane. These vibrations cause various distresses in the mental and physical bodies, disintegration and finally - what is known as death. The more attention you put on the LIGHT, the more LIGHT you will draw into your bodies, and they will vibrate more rapidly. This will make it easier for you to hold Harmony, because when you vibrate beyond a certain rate, no in harmony can register in your world. It is no longer an effort to have self-control, for the human vibratory action ceases to be when you are vibrating so rapidly in thought and feel ing. The glorious pure energy of God, each electron of which contains the fulness of the Divine Plan, not only for the individual, but for the solar system of all these planets, con tinues to flow into the individual's use under the conscious direction of the personal self, and for every electron loaned to the individual shall he render an accounting! When you call to the Holy Christ Self and ask to have released into your conscious use all the powers of your Being, the Holy Christ Self takes note of your use of God's energy in a twelve hour period. The energy you use daily is oniy about ten per cent of the allotment of your lifestream. How many of you can say that for 96 DIVINE DIRECTIVES DIVINE DIRECTIVES even one hour of the twenty-four, these electrons, this radiant energy, the spiritual essence of Divinity, has flowed through you clean and un contaminated, and qualified only with Divine Love? How then can you be considered fit to be the conscious custodian of more of that precious life essence? Ask then, for the assistance of your Holy Christ Self in the dispensing of your life energy each hour of daily living, and not alone in decrees! Remember, man is like a sieve with a thousand holes and the energy of God is constantly flow ing from each one in emotions. in thoughts expressed and unexpressed, in the actions of the flesh body, and in the spoken words. Jesus' statement: "Be ye faithful over little things and I will make you master over many," is this Truth expressed. Those who aspire to Godliness and to give greater service, and who desire the full use of all the energy of their lifestream, must give concerted, conscious effort to guard the life flowing into them each hour. Check impatience and irritation and thoughtless words! Stop the conscious churning of thought processes that re qualify God's pure life and energy, and keep pouring forth as My Great Lord Maitreya said, an emotion of 'rest in action.' Then the Holy Christ Self, looking upon your use of the talents in hand, may double those talents in your experience. Otherwise, it would not be the part of mercy or justice to increase your responsibility while you are yet unable to dispense constructively the small allotment of Life that God has given to you. ALIGNMENT OF THE SEVEN BODIES - - - - In Peiping, for many, many centuries, I have focused an activity of Healing, and within the Retreat, I offer the chelas seven irritations. They are concerned primarily with the develop ment and mastery of the seven bodies which make up the instrument of each "I AM" Presence." Each one of your bodies, beloved hearts, should have full freedom and a natural service to life in one of the Seven Spheres. The consciousness by right should be able to function in any one of those seven bodies as freely as the master of his house performs his service in any one of the rooms that make up his mansion, The "fall of man". as it has been termed, in capacitated the conscious mind to function and to bring back the remembrance of the activities in higher spheres and for the most. part made in accessible the conscious use of the Holy Christ Self, the Causal and Electronic Bodies of the people. The four lower bodies were drawn down by the senses into the sub-strata of the etheric plane, and even they do not function in their natural habitat. The alignment of the seven bodies, returning them to their own sphere and enabling the con scious mind to function in each sphere in an alert, awakened capacity and to draw back the gifts of that sphere and the activities of it into the world of form is the purpose of the Retreat at Peiping and My Service in the Healing of minds and of bodies. 98 DIVINE DIRECTIVES DIVINE DIRECTIVES are functioning primarily, or are supposed to, in the First Realm, in the Heart of God Himself, where the great ideas and the causative centers of the Universal First Cause are freely acces sible. The Causal Body was destined to function in the Second Realm, where ideas were clothed in form, where they took on specific and definite outline, and where the Causal Body of the con sciousness was enabled to fashion clothing, so to speak, for some portion of the Divine Plan. The Holy Christ Self originally functioned in the Third Sphere, and the etheric body, which functions now mostly in the psychic and astral realm, originally held the Divine Pattern in the Fourth Sphere, where the Holy Christ Selves presently abide. The mental body functioned in the Fifth Sphere where the dedication of the energies and the drawing forth of the plan enabled the lifestream to cooperate both with the inner realm and the realm without. It was the activity of drawing the great services of the inner realms into form. The emotional body was to function in the Sixth Sphere, the realm of ministration presently under the direction of the Lady Master Nada and its service was to pour forth the qualities of the Godhead, the nature of the Godhead. The physical body then, of course, was to function in the Seventh Sphere. That is why Saint Germain is beginning, through the contact of the outer consciousness, through the physical body, in the Seventh Sphere to help that consciousness work its way back into the Heart of God. Do you see? I The seven ganglionic centers in the flesh body are a focus or connection with each one of the Seven Spheres and also the connection into your physical form of the activities of each inner sphere. It is a most detailed service, and yet if you understand it fully, you can enter into the necessary personal application to devel op your conscious awareness within these inner spheres, placing your bodies again at the disposal of the soul and the Self, and using them as they were intended. When they are in perfect align ment with the Silver Cord running through them, you have the Master Presence, functioning freely, knowing the Will of God; working in the world of form from the consciousness of the Causal Body, and then lowering into physical expression the Divine Ceremony of manifesting that Will in everv activity of your daily life. These Temples in Peiping enable Us to draw initiates and people interested in re-aligning themselves and awakening the higher consciousness from the world of form. Here We teach them first the control of the physical body; the proper eating and breathing habits; then We develop within them an°understanding of the ganglionic centers, the color of them; the connection with each center and the body which it represents. When they are well versed master physicians, We take them into the mental, emotional, etheric and finally the higher mental world and on up into the Causal Body. Then you have a real "Messenger of Light" who can function in the Electronic Body, who can contact the Masters at will. Then We are given thirty or forty minutes in which to present Our activity to the earnest and yet ofttimes con fused outer mind. It is difficult in the extreme to restrain Ourselves -and to give you just some simple, workable knowledge which can alleviate your present distresses. You, too, must do this some day! Within your own individualized "I AM" Presence, you have your Divine Pattern and Plan. You have been created and directed from the heart of the Universal First cause by some Great God-parents. Some of you came from Alpha and Omega's Cosmic Hearts; some from Isis and Osiris; some from Apollo andDiana; some from Krishna and Sophia; or from Helios and Vesta. (Note: The above Sun Gods and Sun Godesses are Those in charge of Systems closer to the Great Central Sun than the System to which the Earth belongs - Helios and Vesta being the God-parents of our System. Alpha and Omega represent the Great Central Sun Itself.) Your individualized "I AM" Presence was created in the Image of the God-parents Who directed a Three-fold Flame from Their hearts into universal light substance and around that Flame coalesced your glorious Electronic Body of light. Then later, there was projected down into this phys ical appearance world a portion of that magnif icent Flame. It contains within Itself (even as the bulb contains within itself the perfect design of the daffodil), the picture and the seed of your Divinity and of your God-self. Are you less, then, than a flowering bulb or a seed that produces after its kind? Are you less than a blade of grass; less than even the embryo chicken which bursts from the egg, following the pattern of its parents? Ah, no! You are far greater! However, you have one thing which is not the gift of the Nature Kingdom - free-will! Through the use of that gift of free-will, you have cho sen not to let the God Who created you (the Divine, perfect "I AM" Presence Who is living within your heart) expand into Its full perfec tion. From time to time, Beings have been chosen at Inner Levels Who. have a certain consciousness 4 DIVINE DIRECTIVES of the capacity of "letting go and letting God" and these volunteer to come to Earth through physical embodiment to show the people the way to attain Mastery; showing them how to develop into the full flower; the full bloom of the' Christ, Your Mission Similar to Mine! Now, your Mission is similar to My own! Before I came into the world of form, I was "charged" w:i.th a Mission - that is - to manifest unto all mankind the full perfection of Our Father which is in Heaven, You were also so "charged" when you were created! When your Beloved Infinite "I AM" Presence projected down into your physical heart the Immortal Three-fold Flame, that Flame con tained within It the embryonic Christ Whose light We are now endeavoring to expand until it has stirred the outer self from its soul-sleep, We are trying to expand that light to a point where Its pressure is more powerful than that of the shadows of the physical and astral Realms in which you presently abide. Beloved ones, let us not feel that "becoming the Christ" is such an effort! Is it an effort for the bulb to release the green shoot; the lovely golden head of the daffodil; or the lily with its fragrance? Is it an effort for the Nature Kingdom each Spring to manifest the Spirit of Resurrection and, where trees with leafless branches signify the absence of life, to bring perfume and color in blossoms that garland your countryside with such beauty that it brings you closer to the Kingdom of Heaven? Beloved ones, why is mankind alone content to allow the embryonic Christ within his heart DIVINE DIRECTIVES . to remain quiescent within Its 'shell'? Why is he content to let it remain within the "bulb'' and not let the flower of his Divine manhood unfold? The perfume, beauty, dignity and gifts of God through each one should expand to bless the Earth and Her people - sick unto death with travail and all manner of distress. What is the "second-coming"? One Christ is not enough, even in a two-thou sand year period! The "second-coming" means the awakening of many men and many women; many sin cere and determined lifestreams who have had enough of their own way and who, in the privacy of their own rooms, are willing to kneel before their own God, asking that that Presence have Its Own way with them; externalizing the glory of the Divine Pattern and Plan through their outer selves. This was My Message - it was My Mission! It was the reason for My coming into being; the reason for which I went through every experience of the Earth life, even to allowing men to mut ilate My flesh form. I allowed this to prove that the Immort_.ality and Divinity of the Godhead could be manifest through one of the sons of men. This is My endeavor now, in drawing your atten tion, each and every one of you, to your own Christ. It is not as if you had to generate something inside yourselves that is not already there. It is not as though the gardener had to insert the pattern and picture of the daffodil into the bulb,,,,it is already there! the very fact that you have being and a beating heart proves that this Divine Image and Pattern is within you and It but requires the courtesy of your lifestream at this time. All over the world 6 DIVINE DIRECTIVES tonight, earnest and sincere groups of men and women have gathered together while We are endeav oring to pour Our energies into their souls, dislodging in that process the desire to continue to use free-will destructively! Dear hearts, the removal of the destructive use of free-will is the petition which you in dividually and collectively have made to the Karmic Board. I would like to explain to you that the desire to use the free-will destruc tively (which continues to create and sustain imperfection) is in the feeling world. Thus you may understand a little more clearly how it is possible for you, through application, to raise the vibratory action of you own world, the student body and then of mankind at large, to a point where destructive desires no longer exist. You know that the more rapid the vibrations of energy, -- physically, mentally, emotionally or etherically, - the less of discord there is! The slower the vibratory action of the atoms and cells which make up your physical and inner bodies, the more prone they are to accept and become the recipients of vibrations of a low, heavy and discordant nature. Therefore, the acceleration of the vibratory rates of your inner and outer vehicles is part of the reason for your decree work, your songs and, in general, your collective group endeavors. Acceleration of Decrees and Songs is Benefical When a group of students gathers together for a meeting, a Great Master Presence or Deva stands within the atmosphere. As the decrees, fiats and songs go forth in a fairly rapid but balanced tempo, the rate of vibration of the atoms making DIVINE DIRECTIVES up your physical and inner bodies increases and there is thrown off much mis-qualified substance which is instantly transmuted by the Great One in charge of the meeting. You would be amazed could you see with the inner sight, how much impure substance of your worlds is thus transmuted by that beautiful., ever-present and all-willing Violet Fire. This impure substance has been lodged in your physical and inner bodies. Benefactions of Violet Flame This Violet Transmuting Flame is always blaz ing up around every Sanctuary, once it has been called forth there, even when you are not present. It is so wonderful to know that the Violet Fire is always there. Whenever purification is called for, that Violet Flame goes into action. It frees the Elemental substance from all impurities,re turning it to the Sun for repolarization by Divine Love. Explanation of Atom and Electron Now, to expiain the activity of the atoms We shall go back to our illustration of the elec tron and the atom which has been given you previously. The Causal Body** (represented by the circles of color around the upper figure in the Chart) may be likened unto an enlarged electron. Many of those electrons, swinging around a cen tral core, form one atom. Between each electron there is a great distance (relatively speaking). As the electrons swing within their atom, they are either expanding their light or they are closed in by the discord and substance of the astral and psychic Realm, which is forced like pie-shaped wedges, between these points of light. 8 DIVINE DIRECTIVES Now, when your thoughts, your feelings and your etheric memories dwell upon imperfectior1, you slow down the vibratory action of your electrons and then the substance of the psychic and astral Realm closes in around them, lowering the entire vibration of your four lower bodies. In this way you become an easy prey to depression, pov erty, ill-health; to any number of thR various negative aspects which mankind at large mirro.r and outpicture today. ******* **(Note: The "Causal Body" is composed of a series of circles of constructive colors around the in dividualized God Presence of each lifestream (the "I AM" Presence), that which Beloved Jesus called "The Father". This Causal Body is the repository of all the good created and developed by that lifestream - that created by the Presence and Holy Christ Self of the individual at Inner Levels, before taking physical embodiment; as well as all the good created, developed and expanded by the human personality through all its centuries of embodiment here on Earth (or on some other planet, if the individual came here from another Star). Beloved Jesus says in one of the Gospels in the New Testament that man shall be accountable for every word that proceeds from his mouth; also that every "jot and tittle" must be accounted for. So it is! Not one electron or atom escapes from experi encing the results of the vibrations sent out by, from or through it. The Law of the circle is absolute and all must return to its source one day -- either for purification or reward. That which is GOOD is deposited in the causal Body and that which is discordant (becauPe of its very density and low rate of vibration) stays around the physical body and its environ ment. It is this accumulation of evil which DIVINE DIRECTIVES forms the Astral or Psychic Plane! This dis cordant accumulation (individual as well as the collective discord in the Astral and Psychic Realm, must all be purified and redeemed one day, before the Ascension can take place). This purification is accomplished through the constant, dynamic use of the Violet Transmuting Flame. When 51% of the energy of one's lifestream has been drawn into the Causal Body, qualified with perfection, then that individual's Ascension into his Presence (his Source of God's Perfection) has begun. *************** Lower Bodies Now, in order to quicken the vibratory action of your inner bodies, you must use that Immortal Three-fold Flame within your hearts and you must make conscious effort to accelerate the rate of the electrons as they move around the center of the atom. This is done through your decree work; through your songs, visualizations and applica tions individually or in groups. It is done also by a constant vigilance over the type of feelings you allow to rest in your emotional world and the type of thoughts you dwell upon. This vigilance is necessary all through the day - not only during the hours while you are in class - at which time you are directed primarily by someone in charge, whose endeavors keep your attention above the consciousness of the mass mind. The type of memories which you have and the type of physical environment with which you surround yourself also affects these inner vehicles. A.s you keep a vigilant watch over the activities of these inner bodies and you keep the vibratory action of each 10 DIVINE DIRECTIVES one of them up above vibrations of the psychic and astral realm, then there should be no diffi culty in expanding the Christ Flame from within your heart. If you allow these bodies to descend into the Realms where discord and negative crea tions abide (through discordant thoughts and feelings) then you have age, disease, limitations and distresses of every kind and description. Your physical body is interpenetrated by your etheric body. These are enfolded by your mental body and your emotional body. All of these are made up of atoms. Those atoms are composed of a series of electrons in constant motion, spinning around its tiny centripetal heart. Now, the quality of the atoms of every one of your bodies is constantly subject to change; to puri fication and etherealization; or to become more gross and more heavy, That is why individuals are sometimes very beautiful when they are young ( around eighteen years of age) • Their faces then are clear and unlined; their bodies are alive and buoyant; but after they have passed through the discordant experiences of some twenty or thirty years, you find that the vital flesh atoms have been lowered in vibration. This makes the flesh form less beautiful than it was before the discord was registered upon it. Your emotional body is in a constant state of motion, as is even this seemingly inanimate lectern upon which I place My hand. Science has confirmed that there is no such thing as inert or inanimate matter. Your emotional body is made up of millions of tiny electrons in constant movement - these form the atoms. Now, if that motion of the electrons is in accord with the rhythm of your God-Flame and is in accord with the constructive radiation of some Master , that DIVINE DIRECTIVES is fine! Then your emotional body deflects all destructive feelings projected at you, as well as all the discordant energy which you contact. You are then the Master-control of all energy wherever you are! In other words, your feelings ride upon the surface of life, just as a cork floats upon the water and it req~ires no effort to sustain itself in that buoyant, happy state. However, if the vibrations of the emotional bodies are allowed to submerge that body beneath the buoyant poised happiness of the Master (un interrupted harmony) the form of atom changes and you have a heavy and uncontrolled vehicle, which is part of the mass psychic and astral Realm of mankind. In order to refine and purify such an emotional body, the student has to keep using the Violet Fire through it constantly! Here, let Me digress for just a moment. Some times it is quite amazing to Me to see what some people think I feel! My goodness! If I had been the luke-warm, sad-faced individual mankind pic ture Me to be, I never would have gained the victory! Beloved Friends, Divine Love takes great strength! To honestly love in the face of betrayal, abuse and distress takes great strength. Love is not a negative, luke-warm consciousness which mankind so often accept in referring to the shepherd and the sheep. The shepherd is eternally vigilant and his love for his sheep takes him into many dangerous places, believe Me! Now, going back again to this emotional body of which We were speaking - if you find that yours is heavy; if it has explosive tendencies and if it has various qualities in it, apt to rush off 12 DIVINE DIRECTIVES DIVINE DIRECTIVES hit or miss, according to the pressures of the moment, all right! Let us be calm about it! You have created it throughout many centuries of living. It is made up of intelligent electrons forming atoms and these you have collected through ages of time. They are yours! No one can take them from you, - probably no one wants to!! The very fact that it is yours; that it is intelligent and that it can be sublimated (re fined by fire) should be an encouragement to you, Students get so discouraged the moment they see any expression of the "Dweller on the Threshold" ( their own human creation) - the moment they see something in their worlds which needs correction, They go along for many years or perhaps a whole lifetime in joy and happiness when their strong points are confirmed; but it is the weak points which keep you from your Ascension! Dear hearts, We come to give you assistance in correcting that which is wrong in your world and help you create strength of character .•.• Every time you have a flare of discordant feeling, it blasts through your emotional body, setting all the electrons and atoms ajar. What happens then? After these little electrons and atoms get over their shock, they are vibrating in a broken rhythm and any of the psychic and astral Realm around them, vibrating at the same rate, connects with them and becomes part of the substance of your own emotional vehicle. Meantime, through the natural proximity of the mental body to the emotional, the electrons of the mental body are also set into motion and you have another set of discordant vibrations, When the mental body is inharmonious, it tunes into other discordant thoughts and draws those types of atoms into itself, This stirs up etheric memories, some body did the same thing to you twenty years ago, and the etheric body starts into motion. (Audi ence laughed.) Well, beloved ones, I am glad you can laugh, but this is what happens to the average chela and student in a period of twenty four hours, once if not more often. Then, all of these discordant bodies react upon the flesh and you have indigestion, a headache or some other physical distress. The flesh body is prostrated for the time being, Then, all over again, you have to start to recreate a harmony among the members of your household. The Beloved Maha Chohan brought out a good point of instruction, last night. You know, some times it is necessary for Us to come together and discuss the class work, as well as your progress individually. He said one of Us should be sure to bring to the attention of the students the fact that repression of emotions is not the answer to this endeavor to sublimate the outer self. You see, repression of thoughts, emotions or actions will only cause frustration, which will react in either physical distress or some mental or emotional block in consciousness. Transmutation of your energies is the safe way to get these vehicles into alignment. Now, you can use various methods of transmutation. If you are a very dynamic, powerful and pos itive individual and you have a great amount of energy to handle, you can transmute that energy in some type of constructive service. Those of you who are gifted musically -- when you feel a surge of irritation approaching, - still yourself for a moment and then do something good with that energy. Play the piano; write a kindly letter; do something you know will make someone else happy; do something constructive and make 14 DIVINE DIRECTIVES the energy in the emotional body render some good service, rather than allowing it to explode in the unbridled emotion of the moment. Please, dear hearts, do this with the mental body as well. If you have recurrent thoughts of self-pity or depression and if you continue to go back to thought patterns of impurity (some lifestreams have more to handle along this line than others) , take charge of those thoughts right then and there! If your mind is inclined to dwell on the negative side of life; on either impurity, poverty or limitation of any kind; put your mind to work on something j.l st the opposite. Give it a book to read; give it something con structive to do and re-channel that energy to where you want it to go! Give your mind con structive decrees to learn and repeat, As long as it wants to work, then give it one of the books of the Ascended Masters to read and let the energy work itself out harmoniously. The same thing is true of the etheric body, Individuals who have a lot of leisure on their hands, - particularly those in mental institutions, old peoples' homes, prisons, etc,, - those who have not enough to do - allow the etheric body to continue to spin out records of past injuries which have caused those conditions to manifest. The entire atmosph.ere in and around those places is permeated with that effluvia of depression. This is also true of students when they go on vacation or have too much free time, If the etheric body has not been fully purified, there will come out of this sub-conscious Realm many things which cause you to feel a sense of being "hard-done-by", through the injustices of other parts of life, This is something to guard against! You can do the same with this etheric DIVINE DIRECTIVES body as you did with the other bodies, -- either use your music or your reading, or render some constructive service to your fellow-man. This will keep your etheric body from that disintegra ting practice of energizing past errors, If you will do this, beloved ones, eventually you will get the electrons and atoms of all your bodies polarized and harmonized long enough to let God, through you, fulfill Himself. The God head must get all your vehicles to a point of uninterrupted harmony long enough to allow that beautiful Presence to fulfill Itself in glory through you, in dignity and in Mastery. by The Cosmic Being Faith Faith is a quality that is inherent within life, There is no one who does not have faith in something, In its primal essence, life con tains -- undeveloped -- every quality that is constructive. The evolving egos seem to lose the use of some qualities (temporarily at least) , during their long journey through the Earth plane, such as Freedom, Victory, Purity, However, there is no evolving ego who ever entered upon the pathway of life's experience, who has been without Faith by which he has moulded daily the energy of his own being, Individuals have always had, now have and will always have faith in something. Here we come to the clear understanding of the quality representing Faith, It is a channel ~hrough wbich the life energy of the evolving ego flows to energize whatever the individual chooses 16 DIVINE DIRECTIVES DIVINE DIRECTIVES to accept as being true for him and, according to his faith, as Jesus said repeatedly, it shall be done unto him. The directive power of the attention and the receptive power of the senses are instruments of Faith. However, Faith itself is a conscious pouring forth of life essence which energizes and magnifies that which the evolving ego believes to be real and to which, through his faith, he gives his own God Power whereby it is enabled to live in this world of experience. If you will examine the great men of all ages, as well as the tryants of history, you will see that they all had Faith -- one· in God Power acting through them -- and the others in their own ability to achieve glory and dominion. Each of them used the quality of Faith to achieve their respec tive ends. It is not a matter of acquiring Faith, but it is a matter of training the evolving ego to allow the Faith of that one's being to flow only into those manifestations which he or she wishes to sustain. In his intellectual arrogance, man is so prone to use the reports of his senses as irrefutable law to prove his faith is founded on fact. When such an one sees an appearance of illness, such an one feels justified in his own mind -- "I have seen it with my own eyes and it is therefore child ish for me to affirm that it is not real." The Faith of his evolving ego thus joins his energies with the discordant appearance and Faith, being the energizing power of God, then makes the con dition real to him, by the very quality and pressure of his acceptance, This same man, looking at an individual walk ing down a road, sees that individual seem to diminish in size until he becomes no larger than a thumbnail •..• His physical sight reports that his friend has shrunken to the size of a thumb na i 1 , yet the man has no faith in the report of his physical sight because he knows that it is an optical illusion. Therefore, should the visonary faculties of man be taken as infallible conduc tors of Truth to affect the quality of a person's faith? To take another simple illustration, let us use the faculty of hearing, An individual will accept the report of a gun, an explosion or a cry of pain as real because he heard it with his physical ears; yet he is constantly moving in an atmosphere filled with music but does not hear that music until the medium of the radio lowers its vibratory action to a point where the hearing sense can absorb it, Then is the hearing faculty accurate enough to allow it to mould the quality of a man's faith? You might follow the same trend in regard to the senses of touch, smell and even further into the realm of feeling, For instance, a person may have a strong feeling of fear concerning an impending disaster or distressing circumstances over which one seems to have no control. These fear feel ings prevent the individual's placing his faith in God's power to protect and supply him, There fore the pressure of his faith is flowing forth into that discordant condition to energize it and make it seem real to him. This is because the feeling nature is also subject to erroneous reports which have no foundation in truth or fact. 18 DIVINE DIRECTIVES DIVINE DIRECTIVES If man could learn the truth of Jesus' state ment -- "according to your faith be it unto you" he would realize what a powerful force is the quality of his faith and how the natural state of his consciousness of being determines contin ually the manifestation he is energizing. The attention is a spiritual faculty which is constatnly directed by the mind and is the channel through which God's energy flows. The attention carries on the beam of its own mag netic force the radiation of the sender to the object upon which the beam is played. Faith is a constant state of one's being every second of eternity. When the evolving ego is so impreg nated with the inner conviction of consciousness that GOD IS THE ONLY POWER THAT CAN ACT, such an one's faith is constantly energizing that God Power flowing through all appearances. The treatment is not a matter of a few days or month's concentration, but a constant outpouring of that quality of. faith in which the Masters and ALL Perfected Beings eternally dwell, All the Celestial Hierarchy and in fact all life (except that evolving upon the Earth plane) abides in perfect faith in GOOD. There is no "house divided against itself" except in the hu man kingdom. It is this human kingdom that has imparted fear, uncertainty and doubt to the an~mal and elemental kingdoms through giving faith to a power opposed to God. The cycle has come again when the quality of Faith will be used ONLY to expand the radiation of the God Power. THE POSSIBILITIES OF THE CHELA by The Beloved Maha Chohan Unfoldment must come from Self-conscious Effort When an individual seeks entrance to the so-called Mysteries and the personal association with the Gods, he steps forward voluntarily into the Light, which will of necessity reveal both his strengths and his weaknesses. He then uses that portion of the Law of which he is aware to remove the weakn2sses and to be come a fit instrument for the Gods. According to his ability to consciously cooperate is his consciousness widened. Remember --- The Gods are not the Law of one's lifestream. They are merely Friends who point the Way to spiritual unfoldment and eventual Freedom. Application and unfoldment must come always from self-conscious effort, The student unfolds and expands from within himself if he is alert to apply the instruction given. The Teacher does not apply the Law of mathematice for the student, but advises him of the methods and then he must abide in the student's own ability to work out the intricacies of the mathematical law. So it is with you. Use the Resurrecting Power of Life, which is Yours As the Holy Spirit to this Earth, "I AM" the dom, the Animal Kingdom and Mankind. 20 DIVINE DIRECTIVES DIVINE DIRECTIVES Jesus availed Himself of the r~U£r£ctigg power within Life when He reanimated His physical body on that first Easter morning. He said - "What I have done, all men shall one day do." This same resurrecting power is yours and it may be utilized to quickly ra i.se your lifestream into the state of pure Christ Consciousness. As you use those powerful words of Jesus, feel your self and your affairs raised quickly into freedom. Your specific Desire should be to become The Hand of God Each man becomes aware that he is God through self-conscious unfoldment. When an individual recognizes his Divinity in his feelings he be comes self-luminous and passes from this school room into the next Octave, which is referred to in metaphysical parlance as the Ascended Master Realm. Even in that Realm expansion, growth and unfoldment continues up the ladder of cosmic evolution. There is a spiritual law which allows acer tain number of the Hierarchy after the Ascension to supervise the laboratories of Earth and, when conditions permit, to come into close associa tion with those lifestreams who are being pre pared for graduation. This closer communion is twofold: a) It enables the evolving soul to progress more rapidly, and b) It enables the Spiritual Hierarchy to expand Its plans of Divine work through self-conscious cooperation of members of humanity who volunteer their service. Such a close communication with the Gods is, of course, a tremendous privilege, but it is neither comfortable nor easy. a) Be honest with yourself; b) Persevere: c) Examine your motives, which are open to the Masters, and d) Do not attempt chelaship unless you have but one desire -- to become the Hand of God and ultimately to ascend. - - - - Your Goal: To hear God's Presence speak A tree is known by its fruit - a man is known by his actions - a God is recognized by His works. Wise is the man who has the intuition to pierce the veil and hear the "I AM" Presence speak. How to regain your Divine Powers When man voluntarily left God's Kingdom through accepting a power opposed to God, he left on the threshold of that Kingdom all the Divine Powers of his being. When he swore allegiance to the physical appearance world he relinquished all claim to the Powers that belonged to the Godhead. When he chooses to return to he must, in his own feelings, claim to human powers and all powers opposed to God. Such a chan nel you may become and for this reason I AM willing to give you My Personal attention, How to Become Truth To become Truth one must pierce the vfil of words for the most beautiful expressed rEvela tions are but the coarser clothing of rea1ity. Printed instruction is like a door, but one must pass through the "words" into the inner realization of the fact which the words so clum sily endeavor to portray. In the Octave of Per fection the Light Pictures and colors express much more accurately the Truth of Life than the most beautifully written or spoken essay, but even the Light and Color Patterns are but a door to Reality. One must experience through the flesh the Truths as presented by such expressions. DIVINE DIRECTIVES The Four Lower Bodies In studying the four lower bodies as the con tributing factors to the consciousness and as the "qualifiers" of tons of God Energy, we see that the central point of consciousness is in constant motion, functioning in one or more of the four lower bodies and is like a basket ball tossed by the players in the course of the game. The individual thus functions from the heart of the emotional body, or the mental, or the etheric, or the physical, moving like the pendulum of a clock from one to the other, according to the particular experience and pressure and the wile of the body which tries to secure for the moment the prize. The body which secures the center of conscious ness is highly energized during the time when that focus is within it, and, therefore, the lower bodies seek and fight with each other to secure the center of the individual consciousness through fair means or foul.
