These Words of Wisdom were given to our Beloved Geraldine lnnocente * during a period of training by the Great Master of Wisdom -

Our Beloved Kuthumi - Who served as Chohan of the Second Ray until recently when He became Co-World Teacher with Beloved Lord Lanto, (and recently joined by Beloved Dwjahl Kuhl).

This priceless instruction is dedicated to the bringing of God Illumination to the earnest student on the Path, and we give it to you that you may share in the Wisdom that the Ascended Masters used to set Themselves Free. As each one earnestly applies this knowledge, it will render the same service to them.

All who read this booklet will be blessed with the Love, Peace and Wisdom of this great and Beloved Master - Kuthumi.

SELF PREPARATION

Chapter 1.

The Presence of God is waiting, waiting for the opportunity to serve through you and through Me. The beautiful, loving, all-powerful Father of Life stands in a constant attitude of listening, that where He is called, He may answer in an onrushing of His Mighty Presence through the instruments created and prepared of His Love as the Chalice of His Being. Beloved Children of the Father, could your eyes see the imminence .of that Holy Presence, when your innocent forms rise from their beds and place their feet upon the pathway of the day - you would understand the rudeness of the outer self in keeping that Presence waiting! In the press of the unimportant things, sometimes a day, a week, or a lifetime pass and the Presence of God is still waiting the opportunity to fill your Cup with Grace, with Peace, with Healing!

BELOVED ASCENDED MASTER

Early in My own experience, I learned that the Mighty Presence hovering over My insignificant outer self, with the Love of the Holy Mother for Her Blessed Son,I realized that the tender care of Mary for the Infant Jesus was but a limited expression of the Father's Love for Me, and for all the brothers and sisters scurrying like ants upon their self-created path of misery and woe. I enjoyed the bliss of raising up My soul, My heart, My being to ever-present embodied Love - The Presence of God Who was waiting - - waiting My thought, My call, My silent invocation that His greater Wisdom might direct the imprint of My sandals, and I become a "Brother of Peace".

As the Presence of God filled My Cup with the healing power to alleviate the wounds of mankind's hate, my joy and privilege were so great, My heart near burst its bounds as I hastened on winged feet to carry the Cup to those who thirsted - and every morning became as new joy, for the Presence of God always had some particular exquisite gift for the children of men, and I, most humble and unworthy among them all, with soiled hands and shadowed soul, could carry that Cup to My brothers. My life then became an ecstacy and with all a Great Peace descended upon Me because My exultation was bathed in the fragrance of Love, and the emanation was a happiness that come from being God's Messenger!

In the tales that are told that have gathered glory around the name "Francis" (of Assisi) you will find repeatedly that the Presence of Peace was a more powerful force than arms, or rancour, or might, or right - because the Presence of God ever waiting desires above all things to establish Peace in the Sons of Men - in their troubled hearts, in their ruffled minds, in their tortured bodies. Where want of Peace was preva lent I knew that the Presence of God was waiting with outstretched hands, to pour Peace when so invited. I knew when I came to the bed of the sick, that long before I had come, the Presence of God of the afflicted and Myself, was waiting, hovering over the supplicant as the Christ Mother over Her Child, and I merely acknowledged the Presence of God and from that Presence flowed the answer to the particular need of the moment.

So, My Children, proceeding through the veil of human experience, remember when your feet step upon the ground every morning and your body begins the ablutions of the day, that The Presence of God is waiting to fill your day with the fullness of HIMSELF, if you choose to invite Him!

Remember, when there are those in distress, privation or limitation, that the Presence of God is waiting and will release the answer to the particular requirement, if you choose to accept that God Presence and invoke the aid. Today, the Presence of God is waiting to bless you each one with Peace, and I invoke that Presence to fill you with that Peace now!

THE PATH

In the great primordial world, when man first took embodiment upon the Planet Earth, there was no such thing as a Path or a Way. Why was this so? Because, from man sprang the Path! Before the Path had been created,man was, and that Path is a gift of man; and that desire determines the nature of the Path and the bend of the road, and that Goal to be achieved is the pre-destination and the Way!

To take an example from Nature in your country of America, the desire within man to seek the Blue Pacific stirred into motion the energies of his being, and the pioneer plunged into the trackless wilderness with but his own desire from whence sprang the energy by which the first trail was created, and the Goal towards which he pressed determined the bend of the trail. From the first lifestream so destined to be a trail-blazer there was required a great expenditure of life-energy which requirement di minished for each succeeding follower. The nature of those who follow ed the original pathway determined their contribution to the Way. Even the most selfish, by their very footfalls, widened and deepened the Path as the energies of their Life, carrying the dense body through the wilder ness widened that Way.

Then you find the thoughtful, that while passing along the Way, chose to hew back the under-brush to provide the Iean-tos, to mark the

places and way-stations, the places of safety and danger, with the thought of those who would follow on. Thus , by the united and com bined energies of the conscious, and unconscious as well, was the Path to become as the Great Oregon Trail, made and later succeeded through the energies of generation after generation by the magnificent highways and railways of today. All this sprang from the desire within man, which desire pressed the energies of his life into action and created The Path!

As the Great Master Saint Germain has told you, there are path ways through the ethers as real andtangible as the trails and roadways of your third dimensional plane. Those pathways, too, were created by the desire and design of some man whose energies pressed forward and created from the unformed a Spiritual Ladder by which his conscious ness was raised, and the bend of the Path was determined by the desire and the goal.

Men and women who would not think of crossing any portion of the country except by the roadways to the Higher Octaves without the use of the Path already provided by those who have expended their own ener gies in seeking, finding and becoming the Way! The wise, however, recognizing that the footsteps of each Ascending Spirit has widened the Path toward Spiritual Illumination, can by the desire within their heart, find them selves blessed with their feet upon the Path already widened by those who have gone before. Their own energies, their love, their thoughtfulness can make them a tremendous power in strengthening and widening the Path for Those who are coming after, while they them selves can enjoy the fruits of those who have gone before.

We hear so often of The Masters and The Path. l, Myself, like to think of Man and The Path because before The Path, was man whereas the Masters are the result of following The Path and not so much Its Cause.

It is true that when the student it earnestly desirous of finding the True Way, that once his footsteps are placed upon the Path, the Masters' Light can illumine, because by the right of being co-creator of the Path the Masters can, at any time, return upon the Path,way of Their own creative energy and point the way to those following on.

I would like, however, to stress that each man's consciousness pro ceeds into the Universe upon the Pathway of his own Life Energy and the desires and designs within himself determines the nature of the particular Path he chooses to follow, and also determines if he chooses to ignore the Path prepared by the loving nature of Those gone before, and hew for himself with great unnecessary effort a new road which ultimately will lead to the same Bliss.

The word "Wayfarer" signifies the natural activity in the progres sion of the soul of man and he who would pass easily along the "way" must wholly align himself with God.

In early Greece We had many beautiful highways lined withbeautiful trees, flowers and shrubs, and the traveler passed along a "fair way" in his journey. I like to consider the Path to God in such a manner rather than the stern and narrow road of difficulty and abnegation. The Way of Silence is the way of Peace, for in the Silence one cannot incite another to anger nor draw down unnecessary impediments to his own progress. In the Silence one does not set upthe causes that reverberate as destructive effects farther on upon the road. The Breath of God is too pregnant with Power to be used so lightly by the ignorant untrained man and much of his outer turmoil would be avoided if the Breath were conserved within the body until it could be sent forth to accomplish.

Every word spoken sets up a vibratory rate in all the inner bodies as well as in every organ and cell of the atomic structure! These vibratory rates pass out into the Universe and interpenetrate every rock, tree and stone, becoming part of the disintegrating process prevalent in nature. To withdraw from this karmic responsibility disconnects the initiate from much agony, quiets the inner spirit and in time allows the indivi dual to hear the Truth of Life that are likewise vibrating constantly through the world of men - unseen, unfelt, unheard - except by the chosen few who are wise enough to listen!

Every life is but an added petal to the consciousness of the evolving soul. At the culmination of evolution when the thousand petals are closely wound around the consciousness contained within them; all the wealth of experience through the centuries are contained herein and then in the Silence will these petals begin to unfold and the air is permeated with the Celestial Spirit of the awakening God and the beautiful thous and-petal-lotus merges with the great Consciousness that envelops the Universe and another full flower is added to the Garden of the Perfected Ones.

A thousand lives should see the completed Soul but through much procrastination petal after petal must be dropped as worthless, and thus a thousand times a thousand lives are often required, but ultimately the Perfected Flower will result. Others like Lord Gautama, Lord Mai treya, Jesus, Frances Bacon, Morya and strong Hercules, although com pleted in Themselves, voluntarily brought the fragrance of Their Per fume and the radiance of Their Presence again and again to hasten the evolution of others.

Will you consider yourselves now in the beautiful "Fair Way" with a thousand petal lotus growing on every bush and hedge until your own full flower is manifest!

THE WISDOM OF CULTIVATING WISDOM

I present to you another outlet on Faith in bringing to your mind the marvelous release that accompanies a lifestream's Adoration to, and

Honor for the God Power!

When anindividual honors the Power of God, either released directly from the Source of All Life or indirectly through one of the Messengers of the kingdom, such an individual through his own consciousness accepts the God Power as a reality that cannot be denied as an Awesome Pres ence Whose Power is Omnipotent and as an Omniscient Grace Whose efficacy is limitless!

When such a state of mind and heart is established and maintained by an individual part of the One Life, his consciousness becomes a mystical, magnetic Focus that releases the ever present God Power into the Three-dimensional Plane. Every blessed Saint and Holy One in their very innermost nature are constantly adoring the God Principle, ac knowledging Its Active Presence among them and honoring the limitless Power of that Presence which knows no defeat nor failure in anything.

When this state of mind and heart is achieved, and it can be by sincere contemplation upon the Presence of God, the individual abides in an inner peace and tranquility for he does not e,, pect to wrest from his own personality or another's that which the personal self cannot give, but in the SILENT salutation to the everpresent and abiding Power of the God of Love, his recognition, acceptance and devotion to this God of

Love releases the Power of that God to accomplish all things and per fectly.

One of the greatest links between Master and pupil comes when the pupil has attained the consciousness that the God Power will act for and through him, and for and through the Master whenever the Call is sent forth. While the pupil thinks that the God Power will act only for the Master, he has yet far to go! The line of demarcation is fine, but as we move forward on Life's Path, we must learn to Honor the Presence of God in every individual, in our own life, and in the abiding love of the Masters Who have guided and guarded us through the centuries. HOW TO CONTACT THE MASTER

Chapter 2

ATTENTION TO THE MASTER

One of Our endeavors at present, is to repolarize the elements in the inner bodies of the students on every level. This requires that, as often as is possible, We receive the undivided attention of the student, so that Our energies may silence the vibratory action in these bodies and endeavor to quicken the pulsation within the core of the particular atoms, thus throwing off the more impefect atoms, and building in new and finer atoms belonging to the sphere in which each body functions.

The balancing of the development of these various inner bodies is essential before certain added powers of the Sacred Fire, both fom the individual's own Causal Body and from Ourselves, can safely be re leased. We can only release the Power which the least developed of the vehicles can absorb and radiate without ''bursting". Therefore, We have the "minimum" development rather than the "maximum" development of each lifestream with which to work in providing conductors for Our blessings and Our Love.

In the attention to the Presence, if the student can think of the Ray going through the heart of each body - emotinal, mental, etheric, and physical - and "stepping up" its vibration, throwing off the dross and building in the finer essences, it will help Us considerably.

The student moves from place to place upon Life's Path at the direction of the Godself that the polarization of the bodies may take place where the currents are most auspicious.

THE SERVICE OF THE TEACHER

Watching the flowing stream of energy from the Sun into the hearts, bodies and worlds of the students, I am but grateful to have dedicated to the service of mankind as much energy as each heart voluntarily chooses to offer, for that energy is Our Bridge through which We may reach the consciousness, the feelings, the minds of the people.

The raising of the individual to a point of Union with the God Self is the service of the Teacher! That sweet association between Master and pupil is the most glorious reward to Our Hearts for renunciation of the Peace of Nirvana. The turning of the waking spirit toward the Fount of Eternal Peace is Our Joy! The acceptance of the Gifts of that Spirit is the responsibility of the student.

It is an individual journey

u not through space - but through the ever

moving maya of the mind's effluvia, the sweeping tides of the emotional body, the recurrent rhythms of the etheric body, and the ceaseless de mands of the flesh - to tha~ place of Personal Stillness, of humble aware ness of the Presence awaiting opportunity to reveal Itself!

Oh, 'tis not the matter of the moment, sanctifying the soul, prepar ing the vessel for the "coming of the Lord" but every moment of such preparation should fill the heart with joyous anticpation, Love desiring to return the instrument of It's Maker, making the heart sing in all such preparations unto That Day! I have walked the Way - I have sought, and through the Mercy of Life - I have found! And as One Who has so found, I can deeply emphasize that all the searching is worth one instant of the ecstacy to be found in THAT PRESENCE!.

ON LOVE

May I bring to you the sincere, sweet and deep Love which is a magnet that draws from the sleeping recesses of your Being, Life Eternal! Love is truly the fulfillment of the Law because there is no power that: can deny It, nor fail to respond to Its call, nor fail to manifest the perfection of form, outline and nature which true Love invokes from out the heart of the Eternal Silence!

Mankind speaks of Love but knows It not! Love, as manifested through the nature of Divinity, sees only Perfection through all shadow, all distortion of form, all appearances of imperfection. That seeirig containing within itself deep feeling, is an invocative power that Corti· mands life to reveal from within itself the perfection desired. It was this Love which Jesus used to command the appearances that shadowed tlte Light Body to part and reveal the Perfection of the Divine Pattertt through the flesh. It-is this Love that has saved many a child of Earth from the second death, as some intelligent loving Being chose to hold fast to the God Design for the soul that "believed Itself" less than a God man!

When the Shepherds of the Race can feel that Love for the little Ones, as the Mother feels faith and confidence in the most unpromising of her children, we shall through such loving Guides and Guardians, pour Our Love and magnetize the Perfection sleeping there until It does arise and come forth to meet the Call of Love through the Shepherds hearts.

And thus it is in the shining Light of Kashmir, the Love of God is being taught by the Illuminati of the Race. May the students embody it and know the happiness of carry ing the Presence of Love, as sacredly ~s the Eucharist Itself is carried by the Brothers of the Church, in the firtn and certain knowledge that Love so carried cannot be denied.

RAY OF WISDOM

The Ray of Wisdom, of which I am but One facet, is little interested in the world of men. It does not deal with knowledge, accretion of intellectual facts nor mental genius. True Wisdom comes from facing the Sun within, and drawing forth the conscious realization that all Reality, Truth, Beauty, Understanding may be found withn the Flame of One's Own Heart! By listening to the Voice of the Silence in humble and silent reverence, without mental concepts or emotional restraints, one becomes imbued with Wisdom. The wiser one becomes, the more silent is his tongue, the more peaceful his emotional world, and the less thinking he does with the brain.

This is the Second Person of the Trinity referred to as the "Son", although this is often taken as a parental child relationship. Its inner significance is S-u-n and when you really know that the only reality is this Sun, the world of maya can no longer touch you. This is the Path of Wisdom - the period of listening and waiting that signifies the cross legged Buddha, resting from the arduous climb of the Ray of Strength and Purity

Outwardly, it will be a period which, in comparison to your strug gle, will seem peaceful, quiet and serene, for you are not tested in strength now, but in patience inwardly! However, let Me warn you that it is one of the most difficult steps on the Path, for until you can hear the Voice of the Silence, you are running on the periphery of life, shouting with the multitude the hollow hosannas that resound nowhere but in your own ears.

You will find Me a gentle and lenient Master because the Way of the Silence cannot be forced, but let not My gentleness deceive you, for beneath it is the "rod of iron"!

ON ILLUMINATION

The Holy Christ Self of every individualization of the Godhead is completely at one with the Mind and Heart of the Universal God! It is the outer consciousness, the soul, the lower bodies that require conscious Illumination before the personal self can act intelligently to help the race! During this period when the Flame of Illumination is radiating Its essence into the mental, emotional, etheric and physical consciousness of the race, those students who belong to Our Ray, are specific foci for a directed, concentrated pressure of Illumination. Accept it! Breathe it in with every breath! Open your soul and inner bodies to that Golden Essence! It is yours NOW!

Without conscious Illumination, the outer self is in little better posi tion to lead the race than those who act by intuition, feeling and spas modic promptings that reach through the constantly moving vibrations of the vehicles in which the soul abides, striving to be free! With conscious Illumination, the soul is LIGHTED UP from within and the lower bodies become the instruments of the soul and the heart, and the radiation flowing through all the vehicles is a contagion that lights the fires of faith, enthusiasm, love, understanding in other souls which re sults in works well done!

Beloved Morya decided within His Great Heart to bring such Illum ination to the outer consciousness of those who really desire to help the Ascended Masters at this time. For this I am eternally grateful! Through His endeavor, placed lovingly at the altar of Saint Germain's Service, some few people have received Illumination on the current activities of the Hierar.chy. My Flame has flowed through His created channel - as has the Flame of All the Masters, Archangels and Oevas Who have used the Open Door of His Activity as a means of expression into the world of form.

You who represent a conscious focus of the Illumination Fllame on Earth, prepare to carry the WORD accompanied by the radiation of certainty which is generated through works to mankind.. You are being given opportunity to experiment with the applications which will result · in WORKS! Take opportunity thus, weary not. When you have con sciously overcome, you can then teach the aspects of the Law which your feelings confirm as you know their efficacy.

In the Biblical statement which has confounded many, there has been left out a portion of the original worded expression of truth: "To them that hath (understanding of the law) shall be given; to them that hath not (understanding of the law) shall it be taken away. Theoretical under standing must come first, true, but finally there must come practical application of theory to give confidence, strength and conviction to the aura - which is a pressure of conviction which awakens the lethargic energies of mankind.

The students, for the most part in the West, have this theoretical understanding which, like the budding doctor's study of books, must be put into practice in the sick rooms, at the side of the dying, to see if the theories learned in mind can alleviate the distresses of the bodies of others. The apparent slow progress of the chela is because they are being required, in their individual orbits, to first acquire the full knowledge (theory) and then in daily living serve an "internship" which makes them practicing "physicians" in a world sick unto death, morally, emo tionally. mentally as well as physically. Many good men and women, drawn toward professions with an inner vocation, drop out during the period of making theory fact. It is also true (even more so) in spiritual endeavors.

Therefore, together with Illumination, We stress through the Se cond Ray, the quality of CONSTANCY - to keep on keeping on- to follow through from theory to practical works

These forcefields of the Sanctuaries are not used only by the Mas ters for the few students in physical embodiment who attend, but by thousands of disembodied lifestreams seeking certain strengths of the Flames magnetized by the forcefields as well as by thousanr's ,A embod ied mankind. who loosed from the body in sleep, are d· ·1wu toward a focus where they may receive certain immersion in an already God qualified virtue!

ON PERFECTION

We can say with truth that the physical world yields slowly to the Divine Will, but yield it must because the pressure of the Divine Ppn backed by the Power of the Elohim, knows no opposite! The tremendous mass of energy generated by unawakened human beings is a slow mo ing sea of muddy complexion that is being driven backward and down ward, while the Pure Light of the Celestial Day draws ever closer to the Earth. This concentrated pressure of the Light from above upon the self-created evil of mankind, makes a chaotic state for those who are either between or beneath the terrible pressure - and it will be worse before it is better!

All men feel this restless and unhappy state but according to their generation of this evil force, is meted out its return upon them. You can do much to alleviate the karma of those around you who are being ground by their own creations. Clothed in Mercy and Love, your calls can go up for Mercy and Love and the dissipation of those clouds by Light without undue suffering of the masses.

There is but one Eternal True State of Being, a constantly sustained and maintained awareness of Perfection! This glorious and comfortable consciousness is what is referred to as the Ascended Master Octave. In the Ascended Masters Octave We are all ONE! That means that every conscious lifestream Who has attained to this awareness of Perfection, recognizing naught else, has a true concept of the reality of the Universe and all related things. Each such individual, by conscious effort, main tains a state of thought and feeling in which no impefection is allowed to dwell, and thus all men and women in this state are ONE in thought and feeling of belief.

The only separation between your octave and Mine lies in the fact that you believe in good and evil and have not consciously risen to the point where perfection alone permeates every atom and cell of your conscious life. If you would draw cfose to union with My Light and Octave, you must cultivate the habit - not only mentally - but of afeeling of perfection every second of every day! Dwell on Perfection until you become such a Perfectionist that all you contact, by the pressure of your feeling, manifests that Perfection!

As you wear the Golden Robe of My Silence and as you consciously insist on your feeling world, your etheric body and mental state accept ing nothingbut Perfection, you will find that you will progress quickly.

A REQUISITE TO VICTORY

An aspiring Soul, ascending like a silver-tipped arrow from the clinging clay of the consciousness in which the Earth is enmeshed, finds that even when it is once freed from the suction of man's thinking, there is yet much of the clay about it still.

The consciousness that enshrouds the Earth is emitted from the thoughts and feelings of millions. It is a living, teeming mass of intelli gent energy. While an individual remains in an Earth body, he is suscep tible. at all times to the inrush of this consciousness unless his guard is about him and he is consciously tuned into the Light of the World.

Doubt and fear, distrust and suspicion are the natural spawn of the Earth mind. When the soul is happy and uplifted, it repels this substance. When depression and discontent enter the life, those latent qualities fill the world of the individual.

Constant application of the Law; constant drawing forth of the Flame; constant charging and recharging of the world with Light, and constant vigilance is a requisite to Victory.

Chapter 3

BELOVED PRESENCE, BECAUSE THOU ART, "I AM''

When individualization was conferred upon your individual iden tity, the Three-fold Flame was created which became a Cosmic Cause, and you today are the effect of that Cause. Therefore, because that Presence IS, youARE, and because the Cosmic Cause decreed perfection, you are pre-destined to outpicture perfection as an Ascended and Cos mic Being since all cause must of necessity have an effect!

When the Three-fold Flame, which is your true identity, was created from out of the Heart of God, like spokes from a wheel, seven effects were projected, representing the seven-fold nature of man, the seven bodies, etc. Thus, you see even in the finite world every cause has seven effects, and each such effect in tum creates seven new causes! Its ramifi cations extend until, upon contemplation, one realizes that the responsl bility of being a creator is very tremendous.

You live in a world of effects because the physical appearance of even a chair is an effect of a cause - a design or idea in the mind. Considering that every breath, every thought, every feeling, every deed and action sets up a cause of seven effects, and considering further the fact that you see that you have quite a complicated series of eflfe~ts to remove.

The reason and purpose for your decrees when issued intelllgently, is to set up new causes in your world that must bring correspondlng effects - prosperity, health, Illulmlnation!

The reason for the constant admonition for Harmony is because when these new causes are set up they must act, but as your decrees begin a pulsation of opulence, health or peace, at the same time in your daily living, you set up millions of human causes that also must have effects, and in the balance your decrees are far out-weighed by the irritation and distress of your daily living. The statement: "I AM a Being of Cause alone, and that Cause Love, the Sacred Tone" conveys the fullness of this

Truth.

A decree issued becomes a Cosmic Cause instantly and as surely as the Sun shines will it produce an effect in your world, if uninterrupted by millions of smaller human causes that are constantly breaking its pattern. You have no concept of the far-reaching effects of unkind words, thoughts and feelings of irritation, anger and jittery emotions!

The Master's decree is fulfilled co-existent with His call because His entire lifestream is in agreement with His decree, and all the energy of His being is held harmonious; therefore, the natural Law of Life expresses that which He has decreed into form.

The Violet Fire will transmute your human causes of the past and you will advance more rapidly if you will stop creating further distress in the present.

ON CONSCIOUSNESS

Looking at the shell of the sweet little homes representative of the manifestations in which Our Lord Maha Chohan is so genuinely inter ested, it brings to mind how carefully and with what study and genuine interest the average constructive individual prepares and furnishes these

little homes of earthly abode, knowing that he must dwell within his choice of decoration and furnishings, and abide within the general aura of environment which will be more or less permanent by his initial choice.

It is a homely simile that might well be carried out by the people of Earth in the realization that the pattern and expression with which the individual builds his consciousness which will be more or less the per manent structure of his environment, his very body form and his asso ciates, and which is built in a more permanent manner than any physical home, for the creations that build the consciousness have been accumu lated for centuries.

Students of the Law know intellectually that the physical expres sions of his life are but reflections or reproductions of his consciousness, yet the average student places undue stress on the effect or the temporal expression with which he is surrounded and continues to throw open the windows and doors of his consciusness to creations that he would never allow to enter the physical door of-his most humble and temporary abode.

There is no lifestream belonging to this system of worlds who is not constantly creating. The moment a lifestream secures an individual focus of consciousness and becomes a Being dwelling within the Great Consciousness of God, that moment he becomes a co-creator with the Father in the Universe. The unseen world of Thought and Feeling is a great Power House constantly churning out and projecting on to the screen of life the results of the thinking and feeling Being that man is, and outpicturing his inner consciousness.

While man maintained the Ascended Master Consciousness and held true to the code of Perfection, his individual focus of creative life expanded the Beating Heart of Divnity and created a wider periphery for Wisdom of The Ages

the Kingdom of Heavenly Bliss. When man separated his consciousness from his Divinity and acknowledged two powers in the Universe - Per fection and imperfection - he let into his innermost Being the disinte grating force which is the quality of all human causes and these causes being impregnated with doubt, fear, uncertainty, the effects which repre sented his surrounding aura no longer reflected the imperishability and beauty of the ONE but rather the passing imperfection which he allowed to poison his inner consciousness.

To re-train the Arisen Consciousness means that one must train oneself hourly to recognize only Perfection - to allow within the Great Castle of the mind and heart only those furnishings - only those decor ations - which the individual would choose to live with for eternity. Most people's consciousness being filled with such debris as would make even the most cluttered home seem an orderly palace. We have the Cosmic Law now offering theViolet Transmuting Flame which would heal these over-furnished and imperfectly arranged environments.

A man can no more think in secret or feel in secret that the Sun could pour green light and not have the Universe aware of it, because from the tiniest vibration in the inner man, there must come an effect in his physical experience.

The need of today is to reunite the human consciousness with the Divine. If the inner man is fully impregnated with the Ascended Christ Consciousness, the outer self must of necessity, express that inner One-ness of Beauty and Divine Perfection.

People work only with consciousness and when you think of it a man's worth in the outer world is measured by what is within his con sciousness, because the trained executive and the competent workmen

are hired for the value of their inner consciousness which is utilized in the value of their work. A musician is not hired for the form and shape of his hands, but for his inner consciousness of music, which expresses music. Likewise, the chelas are chosen by the God for their consciousness of Truth and faith and fidelity.

When you are admonished to set your house in order, it means to invite and invoke and in contemplation assume that state of being in which only Perfection reigns, and when you create from that premise

your manifestation will express that inner beauty, but if you choose the instrumentof the human mind to create, your manifestation will contain within it every limitation that is inside of the human thinking and feeling entitv.

ASCENDED CONSCIOUSNESS

You are just beginning to taste theexhilaration that comes when the lifestream finds that there are no bounds of limitation to consciousness and that the self-conscious identity of every lifestream can enter each realm at will through the open door of his attention.

There is neither height nor depth nor width to the realm of con sciousness and there is no barrier to any part of life who chooses to function consciously in any realm or state of consciousness, except that the vibratory rate of his own lifestream must correspond to and become one with the vibratory action of the sphere in which he wishes to dwell.

Through the process of thought and feeling, man determines con sciously his vibratory action and he lives, moves and has his being in the state or realm of consciousness which corresponds in vibratory action to his own. The average man, therefore, in the progress of an ordinary day, functions in many states and spheres of consciousness, moving as rapidly to and fro as an ascending or descending elevator. The Law of Being is that the vibratory action of the rate of the energy waves released by the lifestream determines the state of consciousness in which said lifestream dwells.

You have learned how you. may set a pattern of your thinking and feeling process through a call to the Ascended Masters, asking Them to center themselves within the distributing center of the energy belonging to you, and your energy will follow the pattern of the Ascended Masters which will automatically quicken the vibratory action of your world and raise you into a higher octave or state of being.

You can only be drawn from the Ascended Masters' Octave through a voluntary <;>r involuntary change of the vibratory action of your being, which acts like the electric button on the elevator and immediately brings you into a realm of being corresponding to your thought and feeling.

The Ascended Masters maintain Their Being in the Ascended Mas ters' Consciousness because They will not allow the energy of Their lifestream to be requalified with less than Perfection. They_are Masters of the energy in Their own world and function in those spheres which They deliberately choose to enter by the conscious control of the vibra tory action of their llfestreams,

When an Ascended Master chooses to become physical and tangible at any point on the Earth's surface, He immediately qualifies the energy passing through His Body with a slow rate of vibration which makes the form visible to the physical sight. /When He has completed His service there He merely quickens the vibratory action of His Vehicle, just as the pilot sets the propeller of a plane in motion. The Ascended Master does consciously and under the direct control of His own directing intelligence what\mankind does unconsciously. The Master, however, in lowering

the vibratory action of His body keeps it polarized through Love, and Love being the natural projection of life does not allow the vibratory action of the sphere in which the Master visits to impinge its soil upon His pure Vessel.

Your consciousness is the canvas of the mind and there is no lim itation to the perfection you can draw thereon. You may have towering mountain peaks, great crystal lakes or verdant plains. You may dwell in palaces or cottages, as you choose, and there is not time nor space in consciousness. Your exquisite freedom will give you a foretaste of what it is to dwell always in this realm of perfect expression.

Experiment with your powers of creation in the realms of conscious· ness like a Sun to the outpouring of Our Ascended Master Light, and walk freely through the corridors of Eternity, knowing that your Free· dom comes when you come to an understanding of what consciousness is and your relation to it.

Individuals are not entities of concrete form or unpliable matter. From the coarsest human being to the Godhead Himself, all self-con scious Life is energy vibrating at certain rates known as thought and feeling. Therefore, that which distinguishes one Flame of Life from another is not visage but ratherthe quality of thought and feeling, which in truth moulds the visage and the form according to its speciftc rate. Somewhere it has been said, "you are creatures of thought and feeling."

The only difference between an Ascended Master and an unawa kened individual is the quality of thought and feeling. Each has the same creative power, the same free will, the same energy to use, the same Wisdom of The Ages

tremendous ability to mould that energy • according to one's own par· ticular design.

The feeling world contains ninety percent of the energy of the life· stream. If the feeling world is permeated with the Ascended Master's Consciousness, Faith and Power of Light, the energy of that one's life· stream will follow the decree and bring almost instantaneous fulfillment.

Looking at the students We see a certain intellectual knowledge and acceptance (10% of your energy) and a wild ungoverned mass of life (your feeling world) rushes hither and thither with every wind and tide! If you put a scale before you and place your mental accretion on one side and your feelings on the other, you would find that the ninety percent far outweighs the ten percent!

By this time you should begin to realize that the energy of your feeling world is a wonderful servant and by drawing the Power of Light and the Gifts of the Sacred Fire consciously through your feeling world, you may make it an invulnerable defense against the mass pressure of discord and move as the Masters do, within a forcefield of Peace and Light that is not quiescent but a constant outpouring of intelligent energy which acts as a Power of Transmutation in this world of darkness and also as an invulnerable guard1:o the one who is the Fountain of Grace.

To become Master you must control the energy in your own world, no matter what the pressure may be from the appearance world. This can be done only through the drawing of the Peace and Virtue from above and making your feeling world a calm sea upon which your vessel rides serene. Feelings are living entities and cannot be handled by mental force.

WHAT YOU SHOULD REMEMBER

Chapter 4

There has been a detailed discussion of the word "momentum" and the various talents and developments of the lifestreams, their various likes and dislikes, their affinities, aversions, and these are very lightly referred to by the student as a "gathered momentum" in a certain direc tion. The student further realizes that "momentum" is a constant repe tition of certain actions and re-actions toward a certain qualification of energy. which gains in volume and intensity by such repetition and, therefore, becomes a pressure of reserved energy that acts almost inde pendently of the conscious volition of the individual.

Kindliness, humility, genuine warmth of heartfelt feeling are devel oped by the lifestream at first through very definite conscious effort, then as the radiation becomes more a part of the individual, the momentum of good makes the sustained harmony almost automatic in its expression.

People in physical embodiment spend many years in developing a momentum of energy to acquire skill in many expressions of art, music, business, commerce, and then commence the study which involved the drawing of their God energy forth and focusing it into a definite channel, with the realization that a certain amount of God energy mustbe expend ed in order to achieve a resonable amount of dexterity in their chosen field.

In the same manner, lifestreams who have taken stock of their lists of attributes and habits of the personal self, should take the same imper- ' Wisdom of The Ages

sonal reasonable attitude toward the cultivation of the God Qualities as they do towards the cultivation of certain knowledge in the outer world.

Every Being, from the electron to the Godhead, expands by his or her conscious absorption of the God energy his particular quality and directs it according to the free will of the self-conscious life. There is no substitute for "gathered momentum" of a quality! Each person, ascended or unascended, represents today the sum total of his or her own energy qualified through the centuries according to the individual's choice. Some people have a momentum of discord!

In the New Day, all previously charged momentums of discord must be dissolved and then replaced through the conscious effort of the indi vidual by drawing forth of the God energy and a setting up of new qualities and new expressions that are in accord with God's Will. Here is where We come to a very marvelous and little understood explanation of how unascended beings are chosen by the Hierarchy and the Lords of Karma to assist in the bringing forth of the Perfection which will form the pattern for the New Day.

The gathered momentum of each lifestream in any constructive channel forms a great "stock pile" of energy or force, which makes such an one a tremendous pressure for good through the already developed inner nature, and the Masters use that momentum through the instru ments already prepared with certain faculties, which make then natural channels for the work at hand. It is like utilizing experienced actors instead of absolutely untrained people for the expression of their work. For instance, an individual who has taught for centuries is an easier instrument for the Masters to use to deliver a lecture than it would for Him to take one who has never builded a momentum of teaching and try to arrange the inner bodies in such a manner that the pressure of His thought and feeling might be expressed forcibly and well.

That is why all groups of students and aspirants are chosen, not by their present outer expression but by the momentum of inner talents and qualities that can be utilized in a certain locality, blended with others for the greatest good of all.

Another aspect of the Law will be found in the precipitation of opulence, beauty, etc. When a lifestream has held a desire for a certain number of years or embodiments, they form in the ethers a Cup or outline, representing such a powerful desire whether it be for a home, or on a larger scale for a Universal Brotherhood, or a Mass Education for the Young. These forms are already cut out of the Universal Life Sub stance, and when they are in agreement with the constructive plan of the Universe, one or more of the Ascended Masters may ensoul such a desire, thought and feeling from or vision, with Their full gathered Cosmic Momentum and Power of Precipitation through the lifestream who has held such a vision, and in that manner bring it into manifestation.

THE COSMIC MIRROR

In spiritual study the "Mirror of the Mind" has been referred to on numerous occasions. The outer mind is a sensitive impressionable 'plate' used as a 'conductor' for the Divine Ideas released from God's Perfect Plan. It is the means by which the Divine Will is interpreted, and then, according to the facilities of the Interpreter, it is put into physical mani festation.

The outer mind was never intended to be a generating center for independent thought processes but really as the Receiver of Impulses from the Heart Center of Creation, which the individual then utilized to fulfill his or her part of the Divine Plan.

Wisdom of The Ages

In the Great Scheme of Things, there is only One Mind - not many and this great Perfect Mind of God was intended to express Itself through the many manifestations of the ONE and the outer self was intended to be merely a conduit in the physical world to take the Divine Ideas, and through the uses of the substance of the four elements, mould them into form.

Because of the nature of the outer mind working through the brain, it is constantly reflecting pictures of one sort or another, because that is its natural avenue of service to the lifestream. Having lost its focus, intead of the Perfect Pictures of the Divine Self, it reflects the conglomer ation of thoughts and feelings, and the written and spoken words of other outer minds who likewise are off focus! This conglomeration of "facts and fancies" from the intellectual accretion which in an individual is referred to as a "good mind" or a ''brilliant intellect"! In reality it is but a trash heap for the effluvia of other ignorant or sometimes illumined individuals.

Every person must some day, come to realize that the outer mind is the servant of the Divine Presence! You may take that mind just as you would focus a telescopic plate upon the Truth and there would flow into that outer consciousness a perfectly clear understanding of that which is, and that which is to be!

The original Crystal Gazers were fully conscious of this and the Crystal Ball represents the clear mind in which the Truth of the Universe is revealed.

The brain is the instrument that the mind uses, but the mind itself is the instrument of the Spirit. When these three are ONE, you have a

balanced union and an awakened adept. When these three act indepen dently of each other,you have an 'off-center' expression which, through outer interests and desires, is oftimes working wholly independent of the Divine Plan and seldom or ever is in accord with it.

The mind substance fits into the brain as a hand fits into a glove. It is etheric in composition. Pure ether is crystal in substance and the mind, to become fully alert to the impressions of Divinity, must return to this crystal quality of substance. Therefore, to work eternally on the puri fication of the mind is to achieve great dexterity in transmuting the thoughts of Divinity into expression.

This crystal, clear etheric substance which is called the 'outer mind' should be constantly at peace, with no thought of self-generating expres sion but like the sea, reflecting the Sun. It should be constantly open to The Divine Plan of the Universe and then, seeing and knowing that Plan, the individual should go forth and express it.

The case into which the mind is fitted is the physical brain. This is made up of the Earth substance, the elementals of the lower octaves, and is likewise impinged with the atomic chaos of wrong living.

Pure as Alabaster, Light as the Sun, must the brain structure become and then the illumined mind is, in turn, a beautiful and strong instrument with which to work.

The substances taken into the body as food are most quickly felt by the pbysical atoms of the brain, and as soon as they reach the solar plexus their effect is felt on the brain structure. That is why in Crotona I was so extremely careful of diet. To achieve dexterity of the intellect, alertness of body, and illumination of the mind - the diet should be carefully prepared and adhered to!

Man is a very complex instrument and there are so many very fine cog-wheels in the perfect working of the mechanics that it is always a source of amazement to Me to see students advance as quickly as they do in such a state of maladjustment.

I am extremely fond af the organ, and every note is tuned to the thousandth of an inch that the result might be perfect, and yet the aver age student has no attunement whatsoever. In My school work at Cro tona, I used the Music of Divinity to bring harmony to the inner mind and to the atoms which make up the vehicle, and through that music I did achieve great perfection in my 'instruments'. If the outer world of man kind had not destroyed My Venture, I feel much would have been done to advance the progress of the race through the evolution of the God and Goddess I was preparing to represent the Hierarchy.

THE PHYSICAL BRAIN

The physical brain is the instrument of contact with the world of form. It is a complex mechanism whose complex intricacies, have never been fully understood or discovered by the scientific world of any age since the Great Illuminati that governed the planet during the Golden Ages were with drawn into the Heart and Spirit of the Great Silence

You have been told that the brain is the first point of contact where wrong ideas begin to register within the consciousness of the individual lifestream. To describe the brain from the standpoint of its inner signif icance and reason for being, We will consider it as a Sun around which are seven rays representing the six senses and the ray to the physical heart, which should be by far the widest and most powerful channel or conductor of force.

The Divine Mind, which is the full consciousness of all Truth, desired to pour the Flame into the physical heart and then let that Flame pour up through this Seventh Ray into the brain structure, conveying to the personal self the fullness of all Truth, according to their particular study or desire of the moment. In other words, if one were to desi,:e to express more beauty in music, that part of the Divine Mind directly concerned with music would flow into the heart, and naturally up to the brain structure and through the channels of the senses into the outer world, as the manifestation of Perfection released from the Divine Mind through the individual so choosing to call it forth.

In other words, the original purpose of the brain structure with its seven channels of force, was to be a radiating Sun through which the Divine Mind might pour an ever widening consciousness of Truth into the Universe. Every genius of art, music, every inventor and every great statesman, who has ever served the people in.a permanent capacity for good, has consciously or unconsciously used the brain structure as was originally intended as a conductor of Divine Ideas, with the powers of creation, manifesting that Perfection for the good of all.

Whence comes the human mind? Are the human mind and the human brain synonomous? First, the channels or rays that proceed from the brain represent the senses - sight, hearing, taste, smell, touch, intui tion - and the Divine Rays of God chose to pour through these senses . more and more of God's Divine Plan, the senses being the instruments of creation. However, through distortion and inversion of the Law, the senses began to draw into the brain structure the various reports of the world without, and the senses became a magnetic pull of the imperfect manifestations from without in, until the central point where the senses focus in the physical brain became a conglomerate mass of impressions reported to the brain by these faulty senses, and this, conglomerate mass Wisdom of The Ages

became the human mind. This human mind has no reality, is not true, but yet it forms the beliefs, concepts and the motivating power behind the acts, the thoughts and feelings of the people. It is not synonomous with the brain which is a physical structure made up of atoms and cells, but it is a mass of thought and feeling consciousness drawn into the brain and which then works through the senses in the outward motion as the controlling power of the lifestream's experiences.

This human mind is a powerful creation which is not only an individual entity but a mass entity which is the controlling power of the average human being. The Great Presence, endeavoring to direct the lifestream, projects the Light Ray into the Heart and back up into this whirling, breathing individual being so enamored of his own thought and feeling processes, and is seldom aware of the Voice of the Silence.

In the case of great men and women who have served the purpose of assisting the Divine Plan in nations, the God-power had to raise the individual to a point where his human mind was stilled and there could be revealed the vision of the God-plan. These people usually had little accumulation in the brain structure and the overshadowing Presence of the Masters held in abeyance the human thinking until the Divine Vision ' was revealed within the heart of the intellectual consciousness. Then through the channels provided by the senses, such individuals were given the opportunity of translating the idea into physical manifestation. Here they had to be insulated in an oval of the Christ Consciousness to see that the human mind, of which they were primarily a part, did not flow in and completely obliterate the Great Vision. Further than this, there had to be a tremendous outpouring from the Presence and the overshadowing Masters to give such an one constancy and strength to remain true to this Vision until it was accomplished.

The Wisdom of The Ages

When a great Spiritual Movement is about to take place, a great patriotic venture, or any mission that will stir a forward impulse in the race, this Divine Outpouring takes place through the mind of the central figure who is chosen because of his requisites of purity and strength, and in a lesser degree the same vision is imparted to many lifestreams who will have the strength and sustaining power of that Vision to its accom plishment. These individuals receive this inner inspiration, usually com pletely unknown to the outer selves until it is startedby the Leader whom th , recognize, and whose Truth they have shared at inner levels. Thus ye have a constructive group of lifestreams who have tasted the inner sweetness of a vision yet unborn and who can work together in more or less agreement, according to the natural harmony of their beings to the accomplishment of that Vision.

Chapter 5

SERVICE OR DUTY

In the experience of life of man, there has been evolved within the consciousness a sense of moral obligation or duty wherein and whereby he assumes and sustains a certain responsibility by the expenditures of his energy, measuring such service by the standard of human conscious ness and fulfilling more or less imperfectly the artificial standard thus created. In this way, man has bound himself many times to false gods into which·countless tons of energy have flowed through embodiment after embodiment.

The individual who comes into conscious contact with the Hier archy, devoted to the salvation of mankind and the planet, must re orient his consciousness with regard to service and obligation. The quality of a structure depends upon the type of energy that flows forth in service and the ultimate design radiates the combined energy pattern of the lifestreams who have poured the substance of their life into the the creation.

Thus, each home reflects and radiates the consciousness and energy of the lives who contribute to its sustenance and who benefit therefrom. A business project radiates the consciousness and energy both of the organizer as well as the help employed. A construction job builds inio the very structure of the manifestation, the qualities of the energies being drawn forth by the individual in order to accomplish their task.

In the creation, sustenance and explanation of the Masters' work, it

is Our desire to secure selfless souls and spirits who ar~ willing to let JOY be the motivating power of their service and not DUTY! The constant flow of energy through such lifestreams represents a very powerful, tangible and permanent part of the spiritual structure as well as the physical structure of a project, and reluctant, rebellious or discordant energy built into that spiritual structure clouds the entire project and affects its final manifestation to a greater or lesser degree.

The student, upon examination of his consciousness, honestly and impersonally, will discover that self determines the quality of the energy more 'than Love of the Masters and the work! Thus, any cooperative service that an individual performs, the feelings form the energy pattern through which the lifestream's service passes and forms part of the struc ture which the Masters are endeavoring to establish.

If you will invoke the Ascended Masters Who represent Happiness and joyous service through the energy that passes into the present and future unfoldment, it will do much to raise the vibratory action of such service until the hour arises when selfless spirits will joyously accept the responsibility of serving, eager and desirous of pouring their life energy into the pattern set up by the Gods.

My Cloak is a Golden Mantle, soft as eiderdown and shimmering with iridescent Light. It is a Magic, Mystic, Merciful activity that wraps Itself around an individual, a problem, a home or a nation, and gives protection and security in the place of exposure and punishment.

Accordingly as you choose to dedicate yourself to My Humble Service, shall I spread for you the Cloak of the Silence and show you the manner in which you may use that Cloak for yourself or others.

When I give this Cloak of the Silence to My Friends, with It goes a series of instructions to ensure Its full purpose and I tell them that the continuance of Its use carries certain obligations with it.

I ask My Chelas to cover all imperfection that they use, know about, or contact with the Golden, Glimmering Cloak of the Silence. Wrap its shimmering folds around all such mistakes and, by Its magic properties, It will make them right.

When you start your day, place Its soft and peaceful folds around your shoulders and enter the Adoration of God clothed in My Cloak of the Great, Great Silence.

Watching the descent of the radiant energy of the lifestream into the individual's consciousness, We see the tremendous responsibility that every self has in being the dispenser of Life. The glorious pure energy of God, each electron of which contains the fullness of the Divine Plan, not only for the individual but for the Solar System of all the planets, continues to flow into the individual's use under the conscious direction of the personal self, and for every electron loaned to the individual, shall he render an accounting!

When you address the Holy Christ Self and ask that you be made and kept worthv to have released into your conscious use all the powers of your being, The Holy Christ Self takes note of your use of God's en- ergy in any one twelve-hour period. This energy is about 10% of the allotment of your lifestream. Can anyone of you for even one hour of Wisdom of The Ages

twenty-four say, that these electrons, that radiant energy, the spiritual essence of Divinity, has flowed through his channel clean, uncontam inated and qualitied with Love? How, then, can the personal self who is not able to harmoniously dispense life for an hour, in thought, feelings and words, be considered fit to be the conscious dispenser and custodian of that precious life essence?

Consider well the flowing stream that is your Life! The words of David are applicable to your own method of progress: "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want for He leadeth me beside the still watere-" The glorious Life Essence that fills the heart and surges forth through every man is allegorically expressed as the "still waters"!

Let us then, humbly, gently, quietly kneel before the Gift of l,ife and bathe in the "still waters" and find our souls restored.

Let us ask for God's help and counsel in the dispensing of our Life energy each hour, not alone in decrees and aphorisms.

Remember, man is like a sieve with a thousand holes and the 'waters' of God are flowing constantly from each one in emotions, in thoughts expressed and unexpressed, in the actions of the flesh, and in the spoken word. Jesus' statement: "Be ye faitliful in little things and I will m~e you master over many", is truly the same Truth expressed.

Let those who aspire to Godliness, who desire for God's sake to have the full use of all the energy of the lifestream, make concerted consciou5 effort to guard the life flowing into us by the hourjto check impatience and irritation and thoughtless words, to stop the-conscious chu.-ning of thought processes that re-qualify God's energy, and endeavor to pour forth as My Great Lord Maitreya (Lord Divina) said- "an emotion of rest in action." Then the Holy Christ Self, looking upon your use of the

talents in.hand may double those talents in your experience; otherwise, it would not be the part of mercy or justice to increase your responsibility while you are y~t unable to dispense constructively the small allottment

of Life that God has given to you.

ON EXTERNALIZATION

The Inner Pathway to Illumination is pursued through active con templation! The only reality without beginning andwithout end, is the World of Cosmic Cause, within which are Points of Consciousness known as Angels, Devas, Gods or Men. Each point of consciousness interprets this great universal world according to its particular abilities; writer, painter, pianist, etc. The Master or Enlightened One has become ONE with the great Universal "I AM" Presence and dwells completely in the world of the Real, projecting forth on the screen of maya a true representation of the Divine Image of the Divine Plan.

Unawakened mankind project forth or eternalize as their environ ment, their physical bodies and their varied experience, that which their consciousness believes to be true.

Externalization or projection of the inner consciousness is the first activity of the self-creating Flames of God. Therefore, for\ you who desire Illumination, it will be seen that your consciousness alone must merge in the Ascended Master Consciousness for you will always exter nalize only that which you are conscious of within. Your decrees and affirmations and purifications assist in dissolving the false concepts in

the individual mind.

Beloved Children, it is an extreme pleasure, a joy that you cannot yet conceive within the feelings that are bound by the karma of the Earth, to greet hearts, souls and spirits who have stood at Inner Levels at night and pledged their life to the service to the souls of men.

Deep within the recess of Our Hearts, written on the records of akasha, are the vows that the earnest souls make to the Masters and Their Cause, when they are privileged to see a little of the Vision and Desire and Design of God. They in enthusiasm of that free inner body choose to consecrate and dedicate their life energies to forwarding the Cause and bringing an Illumination to the souls of men.

THE FORGOTTEN VOW

How often have We sat together, Teacher and pupil, Guru and chela, Master and disciple, and looking upon the perfection pre-ordained for the Earth, vowed to weave Our own Life energy into this tapestry where in every man would be a manifest God, every woman a Goddess, and every child an Angelic Being of Light and Perfection.

As those souls We love so well were summoned by the Lords of Karma to stand before Them, to receive their heritage of Good and their heritage of evil to be expiated in the life to come, as those bonds of forgetfulness closed the Spirit's memory round them, have We been forgotten and the pledge of the heart, the love the lips, and the enthusi asm of the soul, carrying the weight of the creations of the centuries, found not within the heart the stimulation to proceed - and We Who stand at the other side of the great abyss awaiting the voluntary energies and the stirring of remembrance, thus find Ourselves without a body in form!

Can you feel the depth ofgratitude within Our Hearts when through your outer minds you even acknowledge Our Presence; when in the deep recesses of your heart you breathe a prayer for remembrance, and when your feeling, weighed down with the accumulation of the centuries, ask for the fire, courage and constancy to follow the Vision and incorpora ting the energies of the self - help Us to externalize the God Plan which is for the Blessing of all Life!

You do not know how eagerly We respond to the call of your hearts! How We discuss in detail the particular service and gift We may bring to leave a lasting impetus within your,own lethargic consciousness which will carry you forward with no uncertainty and enable Us, through you, to press Our Reality, Purpose and Design into the minds and feeling of your fellowman.

The Great Law is such, that when the lifestream stands at the Door of Freedom and accepts before the Great Karmic Board the Ascensiqn, that One no longer has a way and means of reaching into the conscious ness of the race except through the love bonds, that builded through the centuries, stir now and again in the heart of an incarnate friend - and on these frail bonds we depend for continuity of Our Service and Our Endeavors.

It is with extreme pleasure that I look upon the awakening con sciousness of the people in Western bodies. It give Us tremendous en couragment to find the thousands of lifestreams who are accepting, at least intellectually, the Presence of Those they choose to call 'Supermen', because in that acceptance We can drawcloser and give Our assistance through all the channels which are natural faucets for the development and furthering of God's Divine Plan!

THE NATURE OF DIVINITY

Chapter 6

Beloved children of God, I bring to you the Nature of Cosmic Peace, for of all the gifts that unascended lifestreams require in order to enjoy the natural activities of their own expression, the greatest require ment of the present hour is for Peace!

Peace in the mind so that the Eternal Truth, as Life has revealed, may register. Peace within the heart and feelings, that the soul within may see and know and experience the great Reality of the Perfection of Life that swings all around the appearance world. Peace in the physical body that it may be worn gently and lightly, and with exceeding grace, and more lovingly move forward in the work of its own Christ Self and the Brotherhood as each would choose to serve it.

As you open your consciousness to My words and to My Pres ence, and are so gracious as to accept, through the listening faculties, the possibility that I might speak freely with you, I ask that out of the substance of your energies there may be woven the Golden Robe of Eternal Peace that nasseth the understanding of the outer mind which is the revelation to mankind that you have voluntarily chosen to enter into that service as a Messenger of Hope, a conductor of love, and as an embodiment of the Nature of God Himself. Then, by inspiration and radiation, will the consciousness and attention of those who will be drawn around you be raised into a like Perfection.

The emotional world of mankind is in constant motion - stirred by the problems, shadows and confusions that have been generated. amd from the great screen of maya, through that confusing sea, the soul

seeks to find Truth which it can no more perceive than you can per ceive, with accuracy, your own form when you look into an agitated body of water.

In the activity and service of perceiving Truth, which is the Nature of God to man, the very first service which is performed by the con-. scious Teacher is to still the vibratory action of the emotional world of the applicant for Truth until, within the deep recesses of the heart, the individual soul may taste of the Nature of God. The individual may then absorb the consciousness and true glory of that Perfect Being which is supposed to be embodied through the outer self of every lifestream belonging to this evolution. Once, even for an instant, that the realization of Divinity is absorbed and grasped by the feeling world, the individual will never again return into that state of darkness which forms the mass consciousness of the people of the present day!

It is not so long since I walked the way of Earth. Born into a family of considerable affluence, My every desire was fulfilled; My every passing whim brought the response of indulgent parents; and I lived a life of gaiety and happiness - so-called - with the others of Assisi. Yet one day, when the pleasure of the hour had palled upon My nature and I had escaped for a time from My daily activities into the quiet of the countryside, l listened to the sound of nature through the running brook. I heard the song of the Devas playing through the trees, and My soul was, for a moment, freed from the desires and appetities of the body. In that stillness, which I now realize was provided for Me by a Power greater than My own evolving consciousness, I saw for moment the Master Jesus - serene, beautiful, majestic - and within My feelings I realized for that instant the True Nature of God embodied in man. For Me, that was the beginning of a new life in which every electron drawn from the Heart of God became dedicated to embodying that Nature Wisdom of The Ages

through My own mind, soul and spirit, and the Imitation of the Christ became My hourly joy until I shared the fullness of that Nature.

Today you stand upon the Pathway of Light, and by your very presence here, signify that you do desire to partake of the Nature of your own Divinity. You must look for It and find, within the deepest recesses of your heart, the REALITY of that God! Then you must incorporate that Reality into your daily and hourly living, for the only purpose of religious teaching or, in fact, religions as a whole, is to again awaken the outer consciousness of man to the True Reality of God, that that God might be embodied through the flesh and stand revealed as the Master Presence over form, substance and energy.

We Who work on the Second Ray are dedicated in Spirit to bring ing Illumination to the mankind of this Earth at the present time be cause the predestined Glory for every lifestream is to externalize the Nature of the Christ. It was not only for the Master Jesus or the few of Us Who hold the Offices in the Hierarchy to become embodied Love; it is for every lifestream who belongs to this great planet. The World Teacher Who is given the responsibility of assisting the mankind evolv ing upon this Earth in every age, must evolve a way and means by which He may reach the consciousness of the masses, sllimulate the interest in the higher things, and in some manner convey enough en thusiasm within the soul that the lifestream begins to evolve that Divine

Nature.

I wish that you could see the detail with which each World Religion is designed at Inner Levels; the love and care with which the World Teacher examines every soul; and the detailed interest with which He looks at the Divine Plan for that Age! He then endeavors to create a form of worship - a means of instruction which can reach the minds, stir

the consciousness, and draw out the energies of the inc.arnate life streams - weaving them into the pattern as revealed by-the Divine Plan. Oh, that you might understand something of the intricacies of Our Endeavors!

You have a seven-fold being in every man; you have seven distinct types of mankind evolving simultaneously upon the planet · each one of these responding spiritually to a different stimulus. Some are spurred to religious fervor and devotion through gentleness, music, beauty and art. Some are stirred by intense patriotism and the drive _of energy which is symbolic of the Will of God - like My Beloved Brother El Morya. Some are the contemplative types and they can be illumined through the concentration of the Will; some are interested in the scien tific balance and can best be stimulated by showing the ntechanical accuracy and prerision of the Universe, the stars, suns and electrons.

To all of these men, women and children, the Message ofGod must come in every age; each individual soul, most precious to the Heart of God, must be given the greatest opportunity in every Age to unfold their Nature as part of God's Plan and Pattern. It is to these many varied types of individuals that teachers must be sent from O'llr School rooms, but their work is further complicated by the fact thilt no two people, even on the same Ray, are similarly developed ment.ally, emo tionally, or physically. Therefore, those teachers are chosen with a similarity of nature or a sympathy of vibration with these )llany and various types of evolution. At Inner levels, it has been Our responsi bility to educate, prepare and develop these teachers who,in themselves, have limitations, prejudices and accumulations through which We must endeavor to present the ultimate of Our Message to render the greatest service.

I long for the day when those of you who profess interest in becoming Shepherds of great numbers may understand the Wisdom nd love that is within the design behind every Religious Movement; how much of Our substance, Our energy and Our love flows through that Movement to the masses who are gathered around the nucleus formed by some dear lifestream endeavoring to the best of his or her ability to 'feed those sheep'!

There should be a tolerant understanding of the progressive move ment of the Christian Churches;of all the various sects and isms; all the orthodox and metaphysical and occult channels. Every one who stands with sincerity in the heart endeavoring through his own light to spread the Word of Truth, is overshadowed by a Brother or Sister of the Golden Robe Who wipes away much of the misconception and human creation that colors the Message and the Word; and pours the love of God into the souls who believe that they have found the ultimate, These souls, unfolding in that radiation through their own Shepherd, will sooner or later come to a point of development where they will be gently raised to the next step upon the Pathway of light and join an other Guide Who has a wider vision of the Spiritual Vista. There again, through the love of Lord Divino, My humble Self and Those Who work with Me, they will be nourished and developed. Thus, slowly but surely, Our arms are around the entire human race. From the very bottom rung of the ladder, all are moving upward until they, too, will one day stand at the feet of the Masters. They, too, will find the emotional body stirred and they will see their own Divinity face to face; then, embodying that glorious Nature, become the Christ Self - the dazzling Transfigured One - revealing Itself in the Glory of Its own God Nature.

One of the first requisites of a Messenger who goes out from the Heart of the Brothers of the Golden Robe is Understanding, Tolerance, Kindliness, Humility and Selflessness • and watch, beloved children of God, for that wonn of spirituaJ pridewhich, in the center of the beauti ful flower of your spirituality, would destroy its Perfection!

Move forward, those of you who are willing to see the manifold service which can be rendered through those who choose to e1J1body t~e Nature of their own Divinity in positive assurance of the all-power of God - (for no quality which I have mentioned is negative) - thus raising mankind by example. These are the lifestreams I would call about Me! These are the men and women who should he the salvation of the race! These are the men and women whose very life will weave for them those Golden Robes of Immortal Peace, and from whose bodies will pass the Healing Flame so that all who touch the hem of their garments will be restored in body, mind and spirit.

As the great Lord Gautama and I have often said through the centuries, beloved hearts, do not strain to go somewhere to find the Presence of God! Stand Still! In this Peace of your own feeling world, open your eyes and realize the Majestic Power of God that is your heartbeat! Let that Nature of Divinity, blazing through your flesh in your own appointed place, bear witness to the pointedness of your vision and the conviction of your feeling world in the All-Power of the Love and Presence of God!

It is no longer enough to admire the Presence of God, It is no longer sufficient to adore and worship the Masters, for neither God nor the Masters require the worship of man! You are here to embody the Nature of God; to become the Master! It is not enough that you hear or read My words; nor that you feel the Peace of My Radiation but you Wisdom of The Ages

must become the Master control of energy and vibration incarnate and stand revealed as the Holy Christ Self of which you speak so freely.

Will you do one thing for Me? Every morning, contemplate the Nature of your Presence, the feeling of your Presence, the Power of your Presence, the Mastery of your Presence • quietly for a few mo· ments. Then will you please go a step further and try to be that Presence for just half an hour? This is what I ask of the lifestreams who

desire to serve Us.

If you will begin the active embodiment of the Nature of your Holy Christ Self, you will find that the change in the vibratory action of your inner bodies will be so comfortable that you will want to increase the time that you engage in this service of discipline in My Name.

I love you more than you can know! I love you enough to chal lenge you to take on the Nature of God right now, and to accept in your feelings the Power that is within It. If you will do this, then I shall have a mighty legion of Shepherds to send forth, and people looking at that embodied Nature, will desire to become like you!

THE SPIRIT OF THE HOME

Chapter 7

The Spirit of the Home has been given little consideration by individuals as a living breathing entity with a consciousness and an evolution of its own which is controlled and affected by the lifestreams who dwell within the aura of such an elemental spirit.

As you readily understand, the forces of the four elements in your body are impressionable and take on the qualities and characteristics that your energy has poured through them in succeeding incarnations. The Spirit of the Home is of this same elemental race and is also subject to the qualifications of the lifestreams and the outpouring of the breath of the individuals who dwell within it.

When the idea or model, blueprint or plan of the simplest habi tation is formed in the mind of man, at that time, the God Power which gave the idea to man draws an elemental spirit to be the guarding and protecting Presence of that manifestation. In fact, all manifest form has such an invisible elemental guard - from the smallest stone to the great est castle. As the home is materialized and drawn into visible form, this elemental spirit overshadows it, and much as the Causal Body of a brand new Spirit does not contain any color, so is this elemental spirit without any qualification of imperfection, but is a vibrant pulsating Being more or less at the mercy of the lifestreams who will inhabit the home and govern the forcefield around it, which is, in Truth, the body of the Elemental Spirit.

Looking at long stretches of small, modest homes yet uninhabited as We walk the streets of your cities, and as the Elemental Spirits greet Wisdom of The Ages

'Js in Their gentle way, We can but wish that all of Their futures be happy and harmonious. In the final accounting, of course, it will be so, but these elemental guarding Presences await the entrance of a family into a home with the same anticipation individuals await the birth of a child or a new member of the family whom none have seen or heard. In Europe particularly, where the feudal castles and manors of great beauty. have endured through the centuries, and the leafy arms of the elemental guarding Spirits stretch-far across the countryside, We find those Spirits heavily imbued with the qualities and characteristics of the families who have breathed out their consciousness, embodiment after embodiment, and the etheric records within these great elemental Devas in charge of these exquisite residences arebadly scarred with the records of human beings who were totally unconscious of the fact that they were writing their history on the body of a Living Being! When God has given man such beauty and such protection, it seems difficult to understand how the forces of the four elements, through the fiat of the Father, must bear the weight of man's iniquity so long and so silently!

When a home has fallen into dissolution and is reclaimed and beautified, the Spirit of that home becomes very grateful and happy as the inner records of that beauty expressed, and the Spirit of that home, in turn, outpours a blessing upon the lifestreams who have made possi ble that Beauty and Perfection.

Individuals must realize that the Spirit of the Home is a conscious Being and will demand of the life energy of individuals even as other personalities do. This great guarding Presence must be under the intel ligent direction of the God Self of those engaged in spiritual pursuits, but afforded a certain acknowledgement and _outpouring of force to keep it in Divine Order. It must not be allowed to become a vampire activity that sucks the life blood and the time and attention of the individual, for that belongs first and foremost to God!

The Spirit of the Home, being an elemental form and focus of Light, must always be under the intelligent direction of the Three-fold Flame of the Masters' Presence Who says always to mankind, to the Angelic Host, and to the Elemental Spirits: "I AM" THE LORD THY

GOD! THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME!"

When the great enfolding radiation of the Spirit of the Home feels the happiness and exhilaration as currents of Beauty flow through it, it will attempt to make the same demands upon the lifestream as will any individual given an undue share of attention. Any man who puts a person, place, condition or thing before time, undivided to God, must come again to the realization that Adoration to the God Power will fill the Home with great Perfection; will raise up Ascended Master Friends to fill every requirement; and will find the life of all connected with the home with the spiritual consciousness of Peace.

PRECIPITATION

Chapter 8

The consciousness which a man uses when he creates - detennines the manifestation and precipitation which results from the creative causes set up in the worlds of thought and feeling. The Ascended Master Consciusness creates after Its kind in Beauty and Perfection; and the human consciousness creates in like manner according to the gen eral quality of the individual consciousness using the God Energy.

Since the quality of manifestaion depends upon . the instrurnent used - even in your daily living, so does the quality of manifestation drawn forth from the world consciousness depend upon the state of consciousness of the individual creating.

When an individual chooses to enter the world of Creative Fire and consciously take the responsibility of setting into action certain. causes which will produce effects, the state of his being, his thought and feeling processes, his conscious and unconscious conglomerate consciousness impinges itself upon the manifest form,

In the Ascended Masters' Octave, as in the human octave, creation takes place the instant that the energy of the lifestream is set into rnoti.on in thought and feeling - that is an indisputable and irrevocable Law! The surroundings, personal atmosphere and environment of an individual, the shape and nature and expressions of his vehicles, the manner in which he lives, are all expressions of his individual consciousness rnani fest mostly through unconscious creative processes.

The Ascended Master environment, vehicles, etc., are likewise man ifestations of the proper use of the Energy of the Godhead released through controlled thought and feeling, because there is but One Law Governing All Life - not distinct and separate patterns of Law govern ing ascended and unascended beings.

Thinking of your consciousness as an instrument of Creative Fire, you will see the importance of the state of.your being when you are attempting conscious creation and precipitation, because the natural course of the vibratory action of your being, whether clouded by doubt fear and uncertainty or impinged with anger and impatience, enters into the energy with which you are creating form and manifestation - and they carry the color, tone and quality of your state of being during the

time of creation

The secret of Jesus' Victory was that He did not work with the human consciousness as. His instrument of creation, which consists of part Truth and part fallacy; but with the Ascended Master Conscious ness or the Consciousness of Go~, the 111 AM" Presence, which neither recognizes nor accepts imperfection. The manifest expression of the Ascended Master Consciousness as used by Jesus was a perfect, flawless expression, as was the Consciousness from whence it sprang.

The sum and substance of this Truth is that to create as God creates, you must STILL YOURSELF and raise yourself into a state of consciousnerss which is ONE with that of the Ascended Host, until your being is impregnated with the knowledge, the belief and the active realization that there is no power opposed to GOD; that manifestation must proceed from Cosmic Cause, and that you are not an individual separated from God attempting to draw, by human will, something from the Cosmic; but that you are the great Creator Himself - calm, Wisdom of The Ages

serene, dispassionate, victorious, with nothing to overcome; and merely for the joy of creation, invoking the Light Rays, coalescing the electrons and precipitating the Divine Manifestation!

In Jesus' Ministry, all of His healings were accomplished by His constant use of the Ascended Christ Consciousness. He did not permit His lifestream to descend to the human consciousness which acknow ledged weakness, for if He had descended in thought and feeling to accepting it as something to be overcome, He would have separated Himself from God Who, as We have said recognizes no imperfection.

I would like to explain the importance of the unascended being who consciously co-operates in fulfilling the Divine Plan.

Any spiritual community or international evolution along a con structive line, is already completed in the Mind of God; then lowered into the Etheric Realm. This explains why prophets, seers, poets or reformists oft-times see a completed plan long before it is evolved in the phsyical octave. Then, inspired by their foresight, they endeavor to convey their wisdom to the minds of men and make practical the ideas which they have witnessed. Before the seed is planted for the oak tree, the etheric pattern of the oak is already stamped in the atmosphere, but it does not become a reality until the physical atom is established in the substance of the elements making up the world of phsyical manifes tation.

Here is a practical explanation of a decree. Let ustake a home for example:

The etheric pattern for that home is complete. It stands a pulsating reality, but the permanent atom must be established in the physical

world in order to draw this etheric pattern into atomic substance, just as the seed has to be planted in order to ensure the growth of the oak,

Within the permanent atom is held the idea, by picturization, of the completed form. As it begins to pulsate and expand, this permanent atom draws the elements of physical world around it until manifes tation takes place. You may see this expressed in the fact that the ner manent atom is the first expression of the child's body,and it takes nine months for that atom to draw around itself the substance of the flesh form.

The permanent physical atom is three-fold, projected from the forehead (gold,) from the throat (blue), and from the heart (pink), and as the mighty decree goes into that atom, the Immedia+e expression of the fulfilled manifestation should take place. The elements of water, air, fire and earth immediately respond to the decree of the Creator, and according to the intensity of the power released, is your manifestation brought forth quickly or otherwise.

Unascended beings form the conductors through which the physi cal atoms may be projected into the world of matter, and conscious conductors cognizant of the Divine Plan, are invaluable!

To picturize a home, means concentrating your energy, thought and imagination on the mental form of that home - drawing the Light from the Presence, which is Substance, into that form and making a Cosmic Pulsation of that home upon the property where it shall ex press. When you have an etheric pattern, it becomes a magnet to draw the physical material requisite to its appearance in the outer. Within this etheric pattern there is a Flame which pulsates constantly, and as your constant and dynamic application draws this etheric pattern into Wisdom of The Ages

the physical world, ways and means will be opened for the coalescing of the physical substance upon its fine outline.

The illumination of the outer consciousness; the awareness that comes to the mind of the purpose behind all rituals, all decrees; all activity that takes place enables the individual as well as the collective groups to happily join in the ceremonial required to magnetize the Gifts of the Godhead.

Where there is not Illumination, there is reluctant energy; there is duty service; there is service that comes through fear and superstition. This shall no longer be! In the New Age and Era, under the direction of the Ascended Master Saint Germain, it is the fiat of the Cosmic Law that man shall know why he must purify his physical, mental, emo tional and etheric bodies, and to what purpose he must remain harmo ious.. Then there will be loving cooperation on the part of the aspirant. It is through the activity of Our Beloved El Morya that We are endeav oring to give the why of this Endeavor to the outer consciousness of mankind.

INFLUENCE OF THE RAYS

Chapter 9

The First and Second Rays represent the Father and Son relation ship of the Godhead, which activity, when throughly assimilated, pre pares the student to enter consciously the Path of Creative Activity in accordance with the Divine Plan.

The Third Ray is the expression of the Holy Spirit in the world of matter, and the remaining four Rays complete the Creative Activity of the Seven Rays under the supervision and direction of the Maha Cho han. The Service of the Chohan of the Third Ray is to translate the Divine Plan into physical expression.

Once the student has mastered the Silence, studied the Divine Plan, and realized his oneness with the Father-Mother-Son Principle of Crea tion, he is then prepared to draw that Divine Plan into manifestation from the Holy Christ Self, and thus become an active part df the Creative Activity.

The Symbol of the Holy Spirit is the Hand. The Hand signifies the activity of the giving forth of energy, and a conscious creative force flows through the hands to render physical service. Thus, the Third Ray is the first point of contact between the world of the Holy Spirit where the Divine Plan stands completed, and the physical world which is still the primal substance that must be moulded according to the Divine Pattern.

This Ray has not been stressed sufficiently in any avenue of learn ing, yet it is one of the most valuable activities that can be assimilated

by the lifestream. One may learn and study for eternity, but until that knowledge has been applied, it is worthless!

Paul, the Venetian Master**, has been referred to as the Master of Tact, Diplomacy and Beauty, and thus has been looked upon as an idealistic form of ascetic living, but He is a practical, dynamic and forceful expression of the Divine Mind in the world of form.

Truly, Tact andDiplomacy are a part of the Third Ray man be cause, in converting the outer world's appearance into the Divine Plan, either in a locality or a nation, much more can be accomplished through these qualities than by a bombastic shattering of existent form. The Divine Plan, in order to be of any use, must be drawn into the physical expression and moulded into the substance of the Earthplane, and this great Ray is the process by which such creative action takes place.

In the great Second Sphere, there are Temples which have been drawn forth by God Beings Who have been intelligently working to further the Cause of God's Will since before this present Earth was drawn into being from the Hearts of the Elohim. Each of the Seven Spheres has a localized section, you might call it, which deals specifi cation with one of the planets of the System. Within the Second Sphere in its fullness, are the Intelligences Who evolved the Perfection of the Second Ray on Mercury and Venus, and there will be God Intelligences Whose Cosmic Service will be to those planets that follow the Earth as Habitations ~~r an evolving mankind.

As far as the planet Earth is concerned, the Chohan of this Sphere is responsible for furthering the Cause and Purpose of this Ray insofar

as it affects the evolution of the Earth, its Nature Kingdom and man kind. There are other Chohans, and there will still be others in the future • Whose responsibility it will be to further the Activity of the Second Ray on other planets and for other evolutions.

From within the Temple of Wisdom and Understanding, the World Teacher, Lord Maitreya*, is endeavoring to reach the consciousness of the teachers of the race. Throughout this Second Sphere, We are establishing schoolrooms to accomodate those lifestreams who are ready -- instructing them while their bodies sleep at night. All these Teachers wear the yellow mantle of the Beloved Lord Gautama**, and it is a beautiful and encouraging sight to see so many of the sons of men voluntarily entering these groups of students as soon as they loose them selves from their fleshly garments at night. It keeps Us extremely busy, and We are always evolving new ways and means of expanding Our Service and inviting new lifestreams to join with Us.

Since the expansion of the Earth's Light, the lord of the World has given Us all much greater freedom to pursue those individual courses of inspiration which We feel will help to speed up the evolution of the race.

This tremendous relaxing of the Cosmic law allows Us to act with a freedom heretofore unknown since Earth entered the realm of the shad ows, and We are like children out of school rejoicing in this freedom..

Chapter 10

ELEMENTAL BEINGS

Often I have spoken to the hearts of the Elementals. I have been privileged to serve in the great Temples of Nature under the Beloved Maha Chohan, and thus draw close to the sweet intelligences Who have volunteered to create and mould the very substance of life into the beauty of the landscape, as well as the nourishment by which man's

physical bodies are enabled to sustain themselves.

The ability of the Elementals to 'mirror' a picture given to them, enables them to serve in externalizing the glorious manifestations which are created for the enjoyment and sustenance of mankind.

In these Temples, a great Builder of Form gathers a number of these little Intelligent Beings around Him. He then externalizes a picture of a flower, a piece of fruit, a shrub, a grain of wheat, or a tree according to the type of elemental in His class. He uses the Universal Light Sub stance as His 'blackboard' as well as for the body of His Thought Form. The little elementals then immediately take on the very form that He is projecting. While He holds the form, it is simple for them to sustain their own little replicas. At first, when He dissolves His Thought Form, their forms disappear as well, but by degrees, He gets them to hold the form after His design is dissolved. They finally come to a point of evolution where they can embody a Thought Form and go outside the Temple and sustain it for a certain length of time.

When they are able to hold the form for the length of time that represents a 'season of manifestation' on the Earth, they are given over to one of the Nature Spirits Who is overshadowing a garden, a lake, a plain, or hillside, and they go into the world of form and endeavor to create and sustain a blade of grass, a flower, a blossom. Thus their creative, visualizing and sustaining powers grow and the Nature King dom evolves into greater responsibility. From such small beginnings, potential Elohim are developed Who will be enabled to receive the pattern for an entire planet from the Cosmic Builders, sustain it for an aeon of time - and provide a habitable globe for an entire evolution.

Since the Nature Kingdom 'mirrors' what is seen, those who come 'up through' this evolution must be on guard to always hold the Divine

Pattern in thoughts and feelings.

THE CHRISTMAS SEASON

In the Kingdom to which We have aspired, and by reason of the persistence of Our aspiration, the Season of the Christ is eternal. Mortal man, through the Mercy of the Cosmic Law, is allowed the foretaste of this Eternal Christ Kingdom through the celebration of the Christmas Season, when animosities are buried and Good Will flows

freely through the hearts of men.

As the Beloved Jesus brought a foretaste of man's destiny in the Kingship He manifested in His Ministry, so does the Holy Season that celebrated His Birth revivfy the Eternal Memory of God's Kingdom in man's outer consciousness each year. That revivified memory of a Glory and Perfection once known sheds a transcendent Light on the nature of man and for a few weeks, the ordinary is overshadowed by the Aura of Goodness and God's Will for all mankind.

It is as though all men stepped for a short while from the prosaic world of outer thought and feeling and lived in the Realm of the·Angels. That was the original intent in the establishment of the Sacred Weeks of the Holy Season. Through the centuries, the Holy and mystic intent has been stolen by the sordid commercialism of the outer world; but the wise stop the eternal round of doing and take time to feel the flowing Power of the Christus that is a marvelous and eternal fount of spiritual

food to the aspiring soul.

To you dear students, during this Holy Season each year, I give My Eternal Love, the Blessings of My Master (Lord Maitreya /Divino) and the inspiration that One Who has become can offer as a magnet to draw you to a like enjoyment of the Kingdom not made with hands, but with

Heart and Spirit and Love!

BIRTHDAYS

A Birth Date is a new beginning, because the cycle of each life stream completes a circuit every three hundred and sixty-five days, and the energy of the individual's world closes the circle of experience

on the day preceding one's birthday.

On the Day which is the Anniversary of the embodiment of the Spirit, the Holy Christ Self releases a new pulsation of Light and Life into the four lower bodies, and from the Presence there comes an added forward impetus with the hope that the succeeding year will fin'd a greater expression of the individual's life plan. This is why it is usually noticed that in the period just preceding one's birthday there is a let-up of life's energy and vitality, and the period immediately following the birthday is usually the most opulent in spiritual unfoldment and inner

well-being.

As the embodiment of a spirit gives new opportunity for such an one to unfold his spiritual nature, so in a minor cycle is each birth date a new beginning, and a great deal of the accumulation of the lifestream which the individual has drawn about itself is dissolved at this time. It is also the privilege and opportunity of the Ascended Host to give the Gifts of Their Qualities to that lifestream - even as unascended beings offer their gifts in the material state.

Every person who passes through the gates of a new Birth Date receives an outpouring from every Ascended Being and the practice of extending gifts here below is but a faint reflection of the inner experi-

ence.

When an individual becomes a student of the Masters and under the direction of the Ascended Host, he or she receives such a Cosmic Outpouring on that one's Birthday as makes it the Holiest Day of the Year! On your birthday, your lifestream is played upon by all the Cosmic Friends in the Kingdom of Eternal Freedom. The richness, the opulence, the Spiritual Illumination which They will give to you will remain a part of your eternal identity for all time. Avail yourselves when this Holy Day comes and bathe in the effulgence of the Presence

of the Godly.

Chapter 11

THIRTY CAME FROM VENUS

In the hour when the Cosmic law found the Earth wanting and decreed that She could no longer abide in the chain of Shining Stars that formed the necklace of the Sun, Sanat Kumara offered to provide from among the Sons and Daughters of Venus, those lifetreams whose indi vidual and collective light would meet the Cosmic law's demand, and who would be 'the light of the World' until such an hour as Her own children should develop and mature and become that light.

The Honor and Devotion of the Hearts of Venus for their lord was such that it was immediately the joy and privilege of some of Her citizens to volunteer to go and prepare a place worthy of His Presence. There were thirty among this first band who stood before the Universal lords of Karma who were accepted as the Advance Guard for the great Kumaras. They voluntarily chose to accept the limiting karmic restric tions for birth into the human race, and after returning to bid their loved ones farewell - not for a lifetime, but for unknown centuries of time - they were escorted into the upper atmosphere of Earth and resided within the Octaves of light under the loving care and hospi tality of the lords of the Second Ray until such time as conditions could

be prepared for their first embodiment.

Vibrating so rapidly and having such pure and beautiful natures, it was not easy to find parents through whom such lovely spirits could take form. Only the finest and most elevated lifestreams were chosen by the Builders of Form and invited before the lords of Karma for Wisdom of The Ages

examination as to whether they could qualify to become the Open Doors for such Cosmic Visitors. Twelve of the children of Earth did so qualify, and the plans for embodiment, association, marriage, etc., were set into motion so that the waiting ones might have their first opportun ity to step through the veil into the realm of physical form. To each set of parents, five of these Visitors were born, again representing the Hand of God in action, this time preparing for the coming of the Lr d of love.

After the first embodiment, for nine hundred years these blessed ones returned again and again, seeking one another out - remembering as best they could their Divine Purpose, Vow and Destiny, through the veil which they shared in common with the entire race. Slowly, but surely, the City of the Bridge {Shamballa) was builded out of the primal substance of the Earth - its choicest marble, its most perfect Jewels, its purest gold! The fairest flowers, the most abundant fruit trees, the greenest shrubbery were gathered from the four comers of the grateful Earth who owed Her sustenance to these Visitors who labored with the vision of their coming lord ever before their eyes and within the secret chambers of their sweet hearts.

Many a tide had ebbed and flowed around the rising columns of the Marble Bridge that rose from the azure sea to connect the mainland with the White Island before the final hour of Visitation was upon them. Many outworn bodies had they laid gratefully aside, only to enter a new infant form and begin again the labor of love before the lemurian Pole Star, shining brightly in the Heavens, signalled through the clouds that the Hour was upon them. Down through the centuries, each generation had passed on to the succeeding generation the know ledge of the mysterious Pole Star which was to signal the moment for which they so ceaselessly and selflessly labored. When the Star reached its Zenity, all was in readiness, and Beloved Sanat Kumara, with His loving Guard of Honor, came to abide upon the Earth.

We now enter the final outpouring of the loving Hearts of Venus! As the blessed ones came Earthward before Him to spread a mantle of their Love before His Presence, so have they returned Home before Him to prepare for His return (see note). One by one, the children of Venus are being released from their Cosmic Vow, and at the close of their natural Earth life, are being released.forever from the chains of birth and death, the atmosphere of Earth itself, and in Honor and Love beyond the comprehension of the outer self, returning to the planet of their Spiritual Birth!

Ah, how can the words of men describe the joy when one is released from an exile of millions of years; from the limitations of a body of flesh; from .t vibratory action that is so far below the natural estate in which the Spirit freely prospers?

Note: On New Year's Eve 1956, the Beloved Sanat Komara was released from His long service to our Earth and returned to His planet Venus. He has remained Regent however, and assists the present Lord of the World, the Beloved Lord Gautama.

SAINT FRANCIS OF ASSISI

People who become founders of religious communities which are dedicated to the service of mankind and the alleviating of suffering and burden, and those to whom God has spoken, either through vision, physical manifestation, or the Divine intervention of a Sainted Being Who expresses God's wishes, have an intense devotion to God which is all-encompassing, and that devotion opens the door whereby the ways and means are provided for the fulfillment of the Godly intent of the original thought in the Mind and Heart of the Father, as presented to a favored son or daughter.

Unless there are those intensely devoted to God, such a venture cannot prosper. When there are those with that intense sustained devotion to the great Abiding Presence of God, the Messengers Who are looking constantly for ways and means of alleviating mankind's pain and to bring Illumination to the consciousness, will press forward be-

yond limit to assist the devoted hearts searching and seeking for a means of accomplishing the Spiritual Focus dedicated to the Brother hood of Man.

During My life in Assisi, I had all the wealth and happiness of a young man of good family, surrounded by gentle folk, and My life knew naught of the thorns of oppression that often turn people God ward. The Godly impulse began to awaken within My heart without any invocation except that which I now know came from My Mother's heart. When I became immersed in the deep, devoted love for Jesus, My life became one of strange inner calm and peace which continured to grow as I left the ways of men and entered the Heart of the Silence. For many years his enfolding Presence expanded within Me, and never by preaching, but by radiation, did I secure a disciple! For Me, the Path of the Silence was not one of repression or suppression, for the beauty of God's Presence in My heart was so great that My outer self was in a constant state of loving adoration before the gift that God had afforded Me in that quenchless burning Flame.

I felt so at one with that Flaming Presence, I learned that I could find It burning in the hearts of all I contacted. Through their eyes I saw the reflection of the Love of God that was within My Presence; in the flight of a bird; or the patter of the wild folk of the forest - in all of that I heard the pulse-beat of My Father's Heart, and as I entered deeper into a grateful submission to this power that began to flow through My arms

and entire being with a warmth and a peace that made Me seem constantly held within the embrace of an Angelic form,I began to hear and see through the veil!

When a man is accorded this privilege, there is no need for words. Sometimes after six or seven days, as I walked through the woods, I would find that seven or eight disciples had joined Me and walked silently in My Aura. I would accept them and break bread with them in the Silence. They said that somehow they were uplifted beyond the thinking of their minds and the feeling of their bodies, and they were able to see and know more of God when they were near Me.

Thus I pursued a singularly quiet course, and the great numbers of monks and sisters that formed the Order of Saint Francis were endowed with the Spirit of that great all-encompassing Life which I, Myself, enjoyed. In the homes and hospitals of Saint Francis, there is the continual outpouring of impersonal Love of Life.

THE WESAK FESTIVAL

I, Kuthumi Lal Singh, of the Providence of Kashmir, where the waters are blue and the mountains most verdant; where the sheep grow the softest wool, and the Song of Harmony is woven into the beautiful tapestries and rugs famous around the world, come to bring you a slight remembrance of the Beauty visited, upon the planet Earth in that sacred spot.

The Vale of Kashmir, even in its sound, conveys the Peace that passeth the understanding of the mind. The variegated colors that only Nature's grandest mountains can effect, are reflected upon the still waters, and over those waters are reverberating from the hills around, Wisdom of The Ages

the chants of the Kashmir tribes who have, generation after generation, dedicated themselves to the weaving of the fine wool which is produced only in Kashmir.

The great annual Wesak Festival* represents the fullest outpouring of Nature during the month of May. Since the planet Earth must be served through Her natural channels at that time of the year when the currents of Earth are turned outward toward manifestation; when every leaf, tree, bud and blossom is unfolding the beauty of its own heart center, the Hierarchy utilizes this natural force for Their greatest out pouring of nourishment to the soul and spirit of man.

It was the Beloved Lord Gautama Who, as the Buddha**, first joined the mighty course of the River of His Life to the natural currents of Earth in His Visitation that first night in May and year after year since, every Member of the Spiritual Way has voluntarily joined the substance and energy of His or Her own lifestream to increase the crescendo ofspiritual overtones that flow forth at this mighty Festival.

There is no outer invitation to the Wesak Festival; the Light within the heart draws each pilgrim and wayfarer, both in their inner and outer bodies, to the place where it is held. There is never any mention made as to the exact location where the Visitation will take place.

The tribes, nomads and disciples of the Lord Buddha start into motion in March and April, and are led only by the prayer of their hearts which points their feet toward the Great Light. This is the only

magnet and invitation that draws them without compass or guide, and their initiation is to allow the heart to join the greater manifestation of the Self which, accordingly, brings the body with it.

From Ceylon and India, Persia and Arabia - from China, Tibet and all Asiatic countries, come the enthusiastic pilgrims who cross conti nents without thought of time or effort. The pupils in the West whose Light is great and who are drawn by that Light, and whose inner bodies are a part of the receiving as well as the outpouring of the energy, are ofttimes entirely unconscious of the tremendous experience which has bathed their souls in the Celestial and Eternal Light, but they will return to their mundane tasks and duties greatly enriched by their experience.

AT THE TOMB OF JESUS

During My days in Assisi, the great Crusades were organized in an endeavor to wrest the Holy Sepulchre from the hands of the infidels. Among many hundreds and thousands of greater men, marvelous war riors, knighted soldiers, and crusaders of merit, I felt within My heart that I .also would like to see and bless the birth-place of that great and Beloved Jesus Who had given to Me Illumination and that Freedom which I knew. So I proceeded as best I could with nothing but My habit and that which the kindly folk along the way provided in the way of food, securing by constant and conscious prayer, passages in various boats and parts of various caravans. I admired much the magnificent armor, the blazing swords, the shining helmets of all those brave men who wore the Cross of the Crusaders. They never thought much of Me. Finally we arrived at the Holy Land and I shall never forget placing My feet upon the earth and feeling the pulsation that still remained from that Vibrant Figure Who had walked that Land some centuries before. While the mighty army of Crusaders prepared its lavish plans and the men were gathered together, whetting their swords upon the stones, and fitting their coats of mail, I walked across the forbidden land and I metthe Prince of the Infidels! We stood side by side at the Holy Sepul chre; and do you know that We were brothers - We were ONE! When I walked back and the Crusaders asked Me where I had been, they were amazed and unbelieving.

It is a thought which the Beloved Maha Chohan asked Me to give to you; that with all the power and might of your decrees, remember also, the gentle cradle within your heart where the Babe of Christ does sleep and where all are Brothers in the Light!

THE TWENTY-YEAR GRANT

It is one of the most difficult disciplines of Our Octave that We must stand silently by and see the glorious endeavors on the part of precious lifestreams to serve Us, and then to sense the confusions and uncertain ties that arise within the consciousness when the willing one feels that he has not fulfilled Our Purpose and Design.

Among the voluntary Spirits who left the planet of Love, Venus, to become the Court of Sanat Kumara, were both Lord Gautama and Lord Maitreya (now Lord Oivino). All of those who came with Them or after Them, are particularly connected with the gifts and blessings of the Second Realm in which I, too, have served. The Second Realm endeav ors to expand the consciousness and capacity of the lifestream so that it may fulfill its Divine Plan through the loving Instructions on the Law of life and their application.

When the Cosmic Law brought down the final fiat that there is but a twenty-year period (from 1952} in which the mankind of Earth are to emit enough Light to sustain the place of this planet in the Solar System, each of the Seven Mighty Spheres began to devise ways and means by which the inhabitants, the Cosmic Lords, the Angelic Host, the Chohans, the Students and their pupils might best cooperate in this endeavor.

Lord Maitreya (Lord Divino), through Whom the outpouring of the Cosmic Christ is destined to reach Its ultimate Outpouring through the Christ Selves of every man belonging to this evolution, was therefore required to hasten the 'Second Coming' by several hundreds of years. What He accomplished through the initiation by which Jesus was joined to His Divinity, He must now accomplish for the entire human race.

Besides what is accomplished cosmically through the Transmission of the Light around the world at the Transmission Classes, His great Power of Accomplishment lies within those of His chelas who are train ed, by centuries of momentum in the art of presenting the Law to the consciousness of mankind.

When Serapis Bey received the Dispensation from the Karmic Coun cil for the first two thousand lifestreams who might stand before the Great Initiator and receive this tremendous assistance in joining the outer consciousness with the God Self, Lord Maitreya blessed each of these chosen ones. He then gave to each a Teacher to assist at Inner Levels in unfolding the natural talents, power and capacities of the lifestream, and the first six months found a surprising response from those so vested with Lord Maitrya's Love.

With the Second Grant in July 1952, He did not repeat this service and the response was much less. For this reason, He accepted the respon sibility of pouring the Universal Radiation to see if We could hasten the Wisdom of The Age

endeavors of the 200,000 who had been given the Grant and who repre sented the Hope of the World, and by your help, it has been done!

Ah, My Guru and Beloved Father - Lord Maitreya! No words could paint the Beauty of His Presence, the shining stars that form the luminous orbs through which He looks upon the Creation of God and finds It good! Often, coming upon Him sitting in contemplation, His white robe folded gently around Him, I stand in such gratitude to behold His Loving Presence. The flowers bend toward Him as He walks by; the birds light upon His shoulders; the Sun itself pauses to kiss His golden hair; the breezes soften as they approach the Peace of His Aura; and no one speaks in His Presence except in the accents of Love Divine. Oh, for the day when all men shall see My Teacher!

ABOUT SPACESHIPS

Have you thought of your Forcefields as 'Spaceships' - • beautiful as any of those you read about with such avidity; that you move, some times visible to the physical sight of people on other continents as a flashing beam of Light- almost with the speed of Light - and they, seeing that, are not fully aware from whence it came?

Speaking on this subject, the evacuation of the Earth by Spaceships

would not seem the part of Wisdom after Beloved Sanat Kumara and all of the Great Beings have spent so many aeons of time keeping the planet Earth in this orbit! If that had been the Cosmic design, should We have called in these Volunteers in the dark days? Sanat Kumara could have remained happily at Home and the evacuation could have taken place.

If you think through carefully the understanding of the Law, you will realize that you are the Captain of a ship, so to speak. The Earth

being that ship at the present time, what purpose would there be in taking everybody with great Light off the Earth in this time of crisis? It would be like taking your Captain and all of the crew and leaving your passengers

at the mercy of the seas!

Have you also thought of where the individuals so taken off the Earth into these spaceships would be taken? You who know so much about vibration must certainly know that if you cannot change the vibration of an Earth-man, how could you take him to Uranus, Aquaria, or Mercury? The vibratory action there would be such that the physical

body could notendure it!

Remember also that the Earth was created by God! The Earth was created by the Love of Helios and Vesta; by the great devotion of the Silent Watcher and the cooperation of the Elohim of Creation' by the magnificent gifts of the Directors of the Elements and the Forces of the Elements Themselves! It was sustained in Its orbit by the Manus of the early Root Race, and cradled in the arms of Sanat Kumara for aeons of of time for a purpose! That purpose is to see that the vibratory action of the men and women of Earth is raised upon the planet which has been sustained to this day by Love indescribable; by Service which the outer mind cannot cognize on the part of Ascended Masters, Cosmic Beings, Angels, Devas and Elementals, as well as on the part of the few men and women in every age who walked the Earth and who have assisted

mankind.

Surely, oh surely such art investment over so many aeons of time could not result in an evacuation of this planet after the great sacrifices of

so many parts of Life?

Let us be realistic about these things! It is pleasurable to enjoy the experiences of fact and fancy, but it is wise to call for Illumination so that one may discriminate between fact and fancy! When the souls of the laggards came from the other planets to the Earth, they did not come in great conveyances, but through the ordinary gates of birth. Individuals who come upon this planet from other Stars and Systems (as some of you have done)do not arrive in a Chariot of Fire! Gently or otherwise, you come through the gates of birth! Nature's Laws are always practical and never 'flashy'. The rising of the Sun, the rise and fall of the tides - all things follow a course and a rhythm! They are not disturbed by the activities or the fancy of the outer mind!

THE FLAME OF ILLUMINATION

Remember to ask for Illumination and follow that by a constancy of service in whatever that Illumination reveals to you. Of you who have touched the Illumination Flame, I ask now, in kindness and in Love, that you call that Flame forth into the outer mind consciousness of everyone connected with world conditions, to give them Illumination and then to give the constancy and courage required to use their Illumination for the

benefit and blessing of the entire race.

Breathe in that Flame of Illumination. Ask your own God Presence to forgive you and every lifestream belonging to this evolution for all misuse of knowledge and power from the beginning of time. Ask that you be stripped of the capacity to use knowledge and power, and partic larly Spiritual Power, for any personal aggrandizement of any kind, or any personal gain. Accept that all Understanding you receive; all of the Gifts that you are given of a Spiritual Nature in the way of instruction, may be used always and only for the good of mankind and the evolution of this planetary scheme. I speak of this for a reason more important

than you can know in the outer.

If you will inwardly pledge yourself, in the expanding of your power, to become more humble, more loving, more willing to serve, more constant in service, more tolerant of your fellowman - you will have Peace!

I bring to you the Gift of Illumination, and the two aspects of perfect Illumination from the Archangel Jophiel and His Complement, Con stance, by active application, until the manifest form is expressed.

There is a great difference between Knowledge and Illumination, or true Understanding. Knowledge has been used through many ages by many individuals who have, through training and certain disciplines, received certain powers which were used for selfish ends. That know ledge, because it works on Absolute Law, became for them a way and means by which to control multitudes of people in fear and distress and to build for themselves material empires. There was, therefore, in that knowledge more of a mental accretion of fact than true Illumination and Understanding which motivates the individual who receives them to use them always in Divine Love for the blessing of all life.

You may trace the pattern and course of history as far back as your written records go. Those who accumulated knowledge had but little understanding or true Illumination as to what their gifts and talents and powers could be used for, such as lightening the burdens of the race, hastening the entire evolution, and making easier the pathway Home for all the lifestreams embodying upon the planet. We now come to a day when We are rendering a dual service. We are bringing the knowledge about the Stars and Galaxies to be recorded and then used at a later date by incoming lifestreams, but We are bringing you the Flame of Illumina tion so that the small portion of the Law that you truly understand Wisdom of The Ages

becomes an externalization of the Grace of the Hoiy Spirit, of the Nature of the Godhead, and of the expression of your glorious Causal Body around your human form.

If you will accept this Illumination Flame, It will give you an under standing of all that you have been studying rather than just dry and bare facts. You can measure yourself in your studies; whether it builds a spiritual pride or arrogance, or builds a greater humility; 011 if it makes you more efficacious in helping your fellowman to understand, or sepa rates you from your fellowman in self-righteousness!

Knowledge without true Understanding becomes more dangerous than not knowing the Law at all! If it builds into the personal self the weaknesses of the centuries that have been which caused the decline of every Golden Age, then that knowledge is not to your benefit. If that knowledge builds in you a greater realization of your capacity to serve Life, then it is being used for a good and constructive purpose and is illumined from within by the motivating Power of Love!

I reverence the Presence of God and Its silent Wisdom which is so Holy that I do not profane It by outer unnecessary sounds. I learned early in My Ministry that around Me were many voices which filled My being with confusion until I looked up and heard the One Voice, and then My ears were deafened to the outer tumult forever.

CHAPTER 12

CHILDREN

Practical Christianity is Godliness. One soul prepared to be a vessel for the Masters is worth all the material wealth that this country can offer. Your cosmic calls to raise up Ascended Master Youth in the service of the Light are priceless, but when they are raised up, where shall they tent?

Many great and important spirits are taking flesh garments to carry on and expand the Masters' Work for the centuries to come. Where, in God's Name, are they

going to find habitation fit for their spiritual

unfoldment and their delicate and refined vehicles? Through the length and breadth of every land, We find millions of unawakened humanity whose homes and environment would completely stop the progress of the incoming soul for its complete embodiment.

They come to every land and every clime, and it is My individual responsibility to secure the best possible means for housing and raising them. In every nation, in every state, and every island, there should be spiritual centers established into which these Gems of Humanity might be gathered, carefully reared and trained along spiritual lines and pre pared to be the 'bridge' for the less awakened masses. As there are not enough vehicles awakened to be the doors through which they can come, We must use, as best We can, the material at hand. and through so-called circumstances, draw together the spiritual 'wheat' which will be the nourishment of the future.

I am He Whose province it is to guard and guide every young person and every incoming child, and yet, unless the bonds of flesh bind the life stream to the elders, it is well nigh impossible to find a wing that will fold over My loved ones! Flesh bonds and blood ties will secure a home for a less evolved being, but there are spirits walking the Earth today on bleeding calloused feet who have not a cloak to cover their shoulders, not a kind word for their heartsore spirits, and yet these tiny pilgrims are My Ambassadors that carry My future plans in their tiny immature hands and in their great and stalwart hearts. When you call for the young, call for shelter, for Love, kindly friends and loving hearts, for the young have been provided and they are coming fast.

I am teaching a great number of powerful souls who are to embody in the New Age as teachers. They will be missionaries of this Activity in the countries of the world.. I teach them by pictures, showing them the embodiments they are going to live - each one able to follow his individ ualization by the color of the robe he wears. They see acted out each great crisis and decision that they will meet, and We run down the action and reaction of several different paths which they may take. When they go back into Earth bodies, they will recall the proper Divine Plan and follow that!

EDUCATION

I greet you in the Name and Spirit of Lord Gautama, the Great Exemplar of The Middle Way, at Whose feet We learned so much of the Law countless centuries ago.

Well do I remember the blazing Sun that beats.down upon Our heads, the long and dusty road that led Us across the length and breadth of India, following an invisible course by which Our Lord magnetized

the very substance of the Earth itself and sanctified certain locations where Holy Men of later embodiments would find Truth by reason of His earlier Presence there.

My whole purpose for being is to incorporate into My Nature some thing of the sweetness and Love of the Beloved Lord Gautama, and then through My students, offer that Love to the young in body who are the hope of the New Day! To this end, those students who are presently engaged in the almost hopeless endeavor of maintaing a spiritual, mental and emotional balance in the educational system, which you refer to as 'progressive', are under My constant protection and watchful care. All the great Visions for World Brotherhood are behind many of the so called progressive movements in educational channels as well as in gov ernmental affairs.

Freedom of government, whether of a five-year old, or a grown man, or of nation or planet, is earned by the developed inner spirit! The freedom which authorities insist be given to the impulses of the younger generation, should be conferred only upon those who have earned the right to direct their own energies. How many among the thousands on Earth today have earned this right? Your answer lies in the fact that the Christ Self of every man will release the Good of the Causal Body without limit when the outer self has proven that it can consciously and constantly draw and direct its energies harmoniously at all times and under all circumstances. Yet, the educators choose to give to undisci plined children the right to channel their energies, when for the most part, even the guardians of those children cannot provide a suitable channel through which the sweet life-essence should be summoned from

the Heart of God!

In Crotona, I did use the method which is being used in the school system today, but with some difference. Within the heart of each life stream is the Teacher! Because of the riotous whirling of the emotional and mental bodies, very few can make a contact with this Teacher and must rely upon the kind offices of a Consciousness which has developed this capacity. The heritage of knowledge and wisdom that has survived the vandalism of the age provides such a store of knowledge from the Illumined Ones, and the lesser teachers, filling their cupsat the Cosmic Well, thus teach the channelling of the energies through the arts.

In rare instances where a lifestream embodied who had already developed the capacity to contact the Teacher directly, I allowed such an · one full freedom to develop from within his own God Flame, and to them I gave aGuru who gently unfolded the Wisdom from within. In the future, I hope to again establish such a school and draw highly evolved lifestreams into it, and with the help of good students, allow this freedom

• but only to a select few!

However, in the field of art, music and general education, without the training by competent teachers, the younger generation will defi nitely not progress until the situation is dealt with by the God Authority which - thank God - is to be allowed fuller freedom in the immediate future. Life itself does not use this continuous progress plan; each man makes for himself the Path and sets the pace!

peoples of the Earth want to be understood, but few are desirous of endeavoring to understand others. He who desires to understand opens the door of his consciousness to Truth and becomes a magnet through which Illumination and Comprehension flow.

When, in your service to life, good is accomplished, let the soft Cloak of the Silence modestly enfold that service, that it may grow without outer acknowledgement. When you achieve Illumination, Un derstanding and Mastery, wear the Cloak of the Silence and your achievements will shine through your aura to help others. Chapter 13

The Blessings of the Cosmic Christ, Whose Mission it is to stir the Soul Light in the hearts of men; to stimulate the spiritual enthusiasm within the sleeping hearts; to illumine and develop the consciousness as to the way to use the Laws of Life in order to ascend the consciousness into its Rightful Estate - be upon you!

Great is the opportunity for those who know to prove their Faith! I bring to you the pressure of My Flame and Ray to stimulate your selfless desire to further the activities in which you are engaged and in which We have invested Our Life in order to acquaint the outer consciousness of the greatest number of people to the requirement of the Cosmic Hour.

In order to accomplish this, the mankind of Earth need to be puri fied! This is done through invoking and directing the Sacred Fire by your decrees and participation in the Transmission of the Flame Classes; and generally by drawing and radiating forth the Powers of God and the Activities of the Masters, Angels and Ministering Spirits from the God-free Realms. The trained groups established throughout the world

render this service.

In order to expand this service, new groups must be formed, the present groups expanded, and all these students nourished, stimulated and educated by understanding the import of the hour. This education can be done by the distributing of the literature which contains the Ascended Master words and instruction. This is especially needed in the orthodox channels by those who seek a greater illumination within their own beliefs, and when properly educated, they will walk forward on the Path into service of a more spiritual nature.

Each of you have certain developed talents and momentum, certain gifts and capacities, certain substance and energy at your disposal. No man can 'take count of your preparedness' but yourself! From the store at your disposal, avail yourselvesaccording to the promptings of your heartand utilize your life forces to spread the Word of God; to create the light of the World; to raise every man to his own highest development as a contributing agent to the light required to free the world.

The Field is large - - world-wide indeed! Many good lifestreams have signified an interest in Our Service; they await the carrying of the 'torch' to the Flame; the inspiration to obey the promptings of the heart. Opportunity is offered, even the attainment of the Ascension, in a split second, and then the Cosmic Moment is gone! He who is wise moves with the tides of the spiritual opportunity and is ever alert for the sum mons - - which often comes informally and without the clothing of authority which so impresses the outer self.

It is expedient that you prepare your worlds and make your appli cation for Freedom - - financially, spiritually, and in every way, so that when you are called you may be prepared to respond on the instant!

Some among you will give ear to this. All of you are ready! We do not ask for fanatical zeal; forthe neglect of the balance required to hold your physical requirements in this world of form through the necessary 'rendering unto Caesar of the things that are Caesar's,' but We point you to application to make clear your way, and to provide you beforehand with the Freedom, morally, financially, and in every way, to move for ward in Our Name!
