THE IMPORTANCE OF THE TRANSMISSION FLAME SERVICE

“One of the important reasons for acquainting mankind with the Councils where the Flame is most active at any given time in the earth cycle, is that the energies of every visitant can become part of the expansion of that Flame, and each interested party is “fuel” to the Fire. "For many years the Breathing Statements were used in the Transmission of the Flame Class at the opening of each Retreat. This served the purpose of the chelas unifying with the Retreat Radiation through the BREATH and assisting the Transmission of the Radiation throughout the planet. Then came the Assimilation and Expansion Service, accelerating the chelas toward BEING an actual electronic outpost of the Flame within their vehicles; and through their vehicles, expanding it out into the world through Decrees, Songs, Visualization, Service, etc.

Now comes the accelerated version of combining both the BREATH and the Electronic Assimilation of Radiation, in a Ceremony connecting the chelas' Christ Flame with the Flame on the Altar of the Ascended Master Retreat… Flame to Flame… so that the Vehicle assimilating the Ascended Master Flame is your own Christ Flame, your True Vehicle and Identity. It then continually expands the Retreat Radiation in your world through Its own Nature of Radiating Itself!

This is a two-fold process :

1. The chela inbreathes and absorbs (assimilates); expands and then projects the Flame
2. The Flame inbreathes and absorbs the Christ Flame of the chela; expands and projects the even more energized and perfected Christ Flame back into the world of form, carrying the Ascended Master Flame in action into the world.

Practice this in quiet contemplation until you can simultaneously feel the Sacred Flame BREATH going into your lungs AS your Flame is inbreathed into the Ascended Master Flame; until you simultaneously absorb the Ascended Master Flame AS your Christ Flame is absorbed by It until you can expand and project the Ascended Master Flame AS your Flame is expanded in Light and projected into greater Service by the Ascended Flame. Feel the RHYTHM of this dual process of assimilating and being assimilated, then expanding and being expanded, just as you Balance the natural flow of the deep RHYTHMIC BREATH.

This practiced through the years will then energize your Christ Flame with every God Quality needed to assure Victory for your own Ascension as well as Victory for the Divine Plan of the Hierarchy, through the Retreat Cycles opened to the chelas. Thus, the Hierarchy externalizes Itself through every more Powerful and Balanced Christ Selves in Embodiment. This is the fulfillment of the Second Coming and why We open Our Retreats to chelas so freely; a Privilege far beyond anything earned as yet through Initiations in the outer world. But the time is right, and the entire Hierarchy remains in agreement on this plan!

The AMTF (Ascended Master Teaching Foundation) is now the official custodian of the teachings transmitted to Geraldine Innocente and originally published in “The Bridge to Freedom” Journal. In its research on the original publications, the AMTF found that not all retreats were held according to a fixed annual schedule. The selection of retreats varied from year to year depending on the work planned by the Great White Brotherhood.

However, the original publications allow us to establish with certainty certain recurring retreats. The Teton Royal Retreat and the Shamballa Retreat are explicitly associated with fixed periods each year, while the Temple of the Resurrection is among the retreats whose dates are sufficiently documented to be preserved in the Transmission Flame Service.

The annual and historical calendars of “The Bridge to Freedom” do not constitute a perpetual calendar: the variable retreats were determined on a year-by-year basis.

For this reason, the calendar currently adopted by the AMTF for the Transmission Flame Service is based on four openings for which the documentary tradition is sufficiently established:

1. Temple of the Resurrection — Holy Land 
   Period: around Easter 
   Retreat associated with Jesus, Mother Mary, Gabriel, Hope, and Raphael. It represents the energies of resurrection, restoration, and spiritual rebirth
    
2. Teton Royal Retreat — Wyoming, United States 
   June 15 – July 14 
   Center of the Great White Brotherhood and meeting place of the Karmic Council
    
3. Shamballa — etheric realm above the Gobi Desert 
   November 15 – December 14 
   Retreat of Lord Gautama Buddha and headquarters of the Great White Brotherhood
    
4. Teton Royal Retreat — Wyoming, United States 
   December 15 – January 14 
   Second annual opening of Teton, corresponding to the second annual meeting of the Karmic Council

This is not to say, therefore, that there are only four retreats of the Ascended Masters. “The Bridge to Freedom” describes dozens of them. It simply means that four openings can be identified today with a sufficient degree of documentary reliability for the Transmission Flame Service.

This distinction is important: the many other retreats are well documented as such, but their current opening dates cannot necessarily be deduced from the dates of their first opening in the 1950s.

However, everyone is free to contact the other retreats and inbreath their Flames whenever they wish.
